Casvi International American School has two student residences: female and male. Living at Casvi International American Boarding School offers an unforgettable and enriching experience. Our resident assistant are dedicated to the personal well-being and academic success of each of the residents. This encourages the autonomy of our students, and allows them to achieve their maximum academic performance and personal development.

Young people from around the world live and learn at Casvi International American Boarding School, where they develop deep friendships that last forever. Our main mission is to make our students grow personally and intellectually to achieve a real advantage in university, in the world of work, or in any real-life situation through the detection and development of talent, with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ethical commitment to our society. Casvi International American School cuenta con dos residencias de estudiantes: femenina y masculina. Convivir en Casvi International American Boarding School ofrece una experiencia inolvidable y

enriquecedora. Nuestros educadores se dedican al bienestar personal y al éxito académico de cada uno de los residentes. Esto fomenta la autonomía de nuestros alumnos, y les permite

alcanzar su máximo rendimiento académico y desarrollo personal.

Dining Room Comedor

Our resident students have breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner service included. Through varied menus and a balanced diet, the boys and girls of the Residence sit at the table to share their daily experiences.

Nuestros alumnos residentes tienen incluido el servicio de desayuno, merienda y cena. A través de menús variados y una dieta equilibrada, los chicos y chicas de la Residencia se sientan a la mesa a compartir sus vivencias diarias.

Security Seguridad

Due to the current health crisis by Covid-19, each resident and resident assistant sleeps in their own room. In the common areas the use of the mask is mandatory. Every day, the cleaning staff efficiently disinfects and cleans each area of the facility, also the laundry service is included. At Casvi International American Boarding School we are very aware of the importance of maintaining the safety and preserving the health of each of our resident students. We have taken on this challenge with the most importance.

Debido a la actual crisis sanitaria por Covid-19, cada residente y educador duerme en un cuarto propio. En las zonas comunes el uso de la mascarilla es obligatorio. Cada día, el personal de limpieza, desinfecta y limpia de forma eficiente cada zona de las instalaciones, así como el servicio de lavandería, que está incluido. En Casvi International American Boarding School somos muy conscientes de la importancia de mantener la seguridad y preservar la salud de cada uno de nuestros alumnos residentes. Hemos asumido este reto con la mayor de las importancias.

“They are not resident students, they are our children”. Our resident assistants offer their knowledge to help students study and prepare for their daily tasks. But they also, listen to them, laugh with them, and even play sports together. At Casvi International American Boarding School, we only know how to do one thing, to give the maximum love to our residents, to create the great family that we are.

“No son alumnos residentes, son nuestros niños y niñas”. Nuestros educadores ofrecen sus conocimientos para ayudar a los alumnos a estudiar y prepararse las tareas diarias. Pero además, les escuchan, ríen con ellos, e incluso practican deporte juntos. En Casvi International American Boarding School, solo sabemos hacer una cosa, aportar el máximo cariño a nuestros residentes, para crear la gran familia que somos.

In our school facilities, residents will have access to any service they may need.

The school is made up of buildings with classrooms and large sports and recreational areas.

Casvi International American Boarding School has a multitude of resources dedicated to sports. From a soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts, to an indoor sports hall, tennis, paddle and a dance room. All of this is surrounded by a natural environment formed by extensive garden areas that allow our students to enjoy and learn from nature.

En las instalaciones de nuestro colegio, los residentes tendrán acceso a cualquier servicio que puedan necesitar.

El Colegio lo constituyen edificios con aulas y amplias zonas deportivas y de recreo.

Casvi International American Boarding School cuenta con multitud de recursos destinados al deporte. Desde campo de fútbol y canchas de baloncesto y voleibol, hasta un pabellón polideportivo cubierto, tenis, pádel y sala de danza. Todo ello rodeado de un entorno natural formado por amplias zonas ajardinadas que permiten a nuestros alumnos disfrutar y aprender de la naturaleza.

The fundamental pillar in Casvi International American School is the implementation of the three programs of the International Baccalaureate (IB), in all stages of education: PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme) and DP (Diploma Programme), on an American teaching model. The experience of being part of our community will provide students with opportunities that will be essential to their education. Because internationality, language teaching, and the promotion of our students’ talent, backed by great academic results, support our educational project.

El pilar fundamental en Casvi International American School es la implantación de los tres programas del Bachillerato internacional (IB), en todas las etapas de enseñanza: PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme) y DP (Diploma Programme), sobre un modelo de enseñanza americano. La experiencia de formar parte de nuestra comunidad brindará a los alumnos oportunidades que serán esenciales para su formación. Casvi International American Boarding School is highly committed to the comprehensive sports education of each student. Here you can find sports such as athletics, tennis, paddle, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, sports gymnastics, soccer, basketball, field hockey, baseball or volleyball.

Teachers work with our students from an early age and focus on building early skills to encourage healthy competitiveness, sportsmanship and teamwork. They identify and support each student’s individual skills and abilities, whether they are a future elite athlete or have never played a team sport before.

Casvi International American Boarding School está altamente comprometido con la formación integral deportiva de cada uno de los estudiantes. Aquí podrás encontrar deportes como atletismo, tenis, pádel, gimnasia rítmica, danza, gimnasia deportiva, fútbol, baloncesto, hockey, béisbol o voleibol.

Los profesores trabajan con nuestros alumnos desde pequeños y se enfocan en la construcción de habilidades tempranas para fomentar una competitividad saludable, la deportividad y el trabajo en equipo. Identifican y apoyan las aptitudes y habilidades individuales de cada alumno, ya sea un futuro atleta de élite o por el contrario no haya practicado antes un deporte de equipo.

METHODOLOGY

Cultural ActivitiesLife in the Residence offers a wide variety of fun and interesting activities on weekends and at important holidays, such as Christmas.

At Casvi International American Boarding School our resident assistant do their best to provide our resident students with a life-changing experience. Our activities are very diverse:

• Sports: we have a very varied plan. From playing table tennis to running with our resident assistant, agility circuits or basketball. The options are multiple. It is not only a healthy activity, but also fun.

• Academic environment: our resident assistants are present in the academic environment of each student. Thus, they help solve problems and help them study.

• Movie and popcorn session every Friday.

• Weekends: due to the health crisis caused by Covid-19, we have been forced to reduce the scheduled outings for this academic year. Currently, the scheduled outings are in open spaces. However, in other years, excursions to museums, cinemas, parks, hiking in the mountains, etc. are very frequent.

• Gala Dinner: This is the big day at Casvi International American Boarding School. The resident students celebrate the arrival of Christmas in a special gala dinner that they share with the entire educational community.

METODOLOGÍA

Actividades CulturalesLa vida en la Residencia ofrece una gran variedad de actividades divertidas e interesantes los fines de semana y en fiestas señaladas como, por ejemplo, Navidad.

En Casvi International American Boarding School nuestros educadores hacen todo lo posible por brindar a nuestros alumnos residentes una experiencia, que sin duda, cambiará sus vidas. Nuestras actividades son muy diversas:

• Deporte: contamos con un planteamiento muy variado. Desde jugar al tenis de mesa, hasta salir a correr con nuestros educadores, circuitos de agilidad o baloncesto. Las opciones son múltiples. No solo es una actividad saludable, sino también divertida.

• Ámbito académico: nuestros educadores están bien presentes en el ámbito académico de cada alumno. Así, resuelven dudas y les ayudan a estudiar.

• Sesión de palomitas y cine cada viernes.

• Fines de semana: debido a la crisis sanitaria por Covid-19, nos hemos visto obligados a reducir las salidas programadas para este año académico. Actualmente, las salidas programadas son en espacios abiertos. Sin embargo, otros años es muy frecuente las excursiones a museos, cines, parques, senderismo en la montaña, etc.

• Cena de gala: es el gran día en Casvi International American Boarding School. Los alumnos residentes celebran la llegada de la Navidad en una cena de gala especial que comparten con toda la comunidad educativa.
