Gregory has been a member of NAELA since 1989. He is a NAELA Fellow and CAP member and has served on the National Elder Law Foundation’s Board of Certification. He chairs NAELA’s Professionalism and Ethics Committee and has chaired NAELA's Long-Range Planning, Program and Education, Public Policy, and Finance committees. He founded and chaired the Elder Law committees of the Ohio State and Cincinnati Bar associations, served on the committee that drafted Ohio's model advance directives, and co-authored Anderson's Ohio Elder Law Practice Manual. He is rated AV-Preeminent, is an Ohio Super Lawyer and Cincy Leading Lawyer, and has received the NAELA President’s Recognition Award and the Laury Adsit Gelardi UnAward.

Howie has been a member of NAELA since 1997. He serves on the Executive Council of the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar as the NAELA Liaison and is a member of the Joint Public Policy Task Force of the Florida Bar Association Elder Law Section and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys. He is a past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA). He is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.

Brad has been a member of NAELA since 1999. Mr. Frigon received his Juris Doctor Degree in 1981 from Washburn University and his Master of Laws Degree in Taxation in 1982 from the University of Denver. He is a Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. He is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Special Needs Trust Alliance and is a Fellow in the Kansas Bar Association. Mr. Frigon served as Program Chair of the 2008 Advanced Elder Law Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, and is the current chair of the Programs and Education Committee for NAELA.

Shirley has been a member of NAELA since 1995. She is a NAELA Fellow, past Chair of the Membership Committee and is a member of the Guardianship/Capacity Section Steering Committee, the Advocacy/ Litigation Section, the Amicus Committee and the New Jersey chapter. She is a Trustee of the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) and the Guardianship Association of New Jersey, Inc. (GANJI). Mike has been a member of NAELA since 2002. He is Immediate Past Chair of the New York

State Bar Association ("NYSBA") Elder Law Section, a member of the Executive Committee and

former Chair of the Legislation Committee, the Estate & Tax Planning Committee and the

Leadership Task Force. He also is the 2010 recipient of the prestigious NYSBA Elder Law Section

Award as a principal drafter of NYSBA’s significant amendments to the 2009 Power of Attorney

statute and form and the 2007 recipient of the NYSBA Elder Law Section Award for work as a

principal drafter of the New York State Compact for Long Term Care. He also served as

President of the New York Chapter of NAELA and is the 2010 recipient of the Outstanding New

York Chapter Member Award. Recently, Mr. Amoruso was appointed Co-Chair of the NAELA

Chapter Presidents Council and a member of the NAELA Public Policy Board. He also is Chair of

the NAELA Telephonic Education Committee and a member of the NAELA Program & Education

Committee and the NAELA Education Task Force. He was rated AV Preeminent by Martindale

Hubbell for 2011 and was selected as a 2010 New York Super Lawyer for Elder Law.

Tim has been a member of NAELA since 1993. He was invited to join the Council of Advanced Practitioners in August of 2005, is currently serving as Chair of the Practice Development/Practice Management Section and is a Past President of the Wisconsin Chapter of NAELA. He is past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is also a CPA.

Julie has been a member of NAELA since 2003. She is currently the Vice President of the Northern California chapter of NAELA. She is a board member of the Life Care Planning Law Firms Association (LCPLFA). She is also a Charter Member of Elder Counsel. Prior to opening her Elder Law practice, her first career was working as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in several San Francisco Bay Area hospitals.

Amos has been a member of NAELA since 1999. He received an LL.M. (with honors) in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law, is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the Special Needs Alliance. He is past president of the Centre County Bar Association, past Chair of the PBA Lawyers Assistance Committee, a founding Director (and continues as Director) of the Board of Pennsylvania Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, and formerly a member of the Judicial Inquiry and Review Board. She holds a Masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M.) from New York University, is Chairperson of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section, a member of the Board of Directors of New York NAELA and a member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners of NAELA. Ms.Gruer is the Immediate Past President of the Great Neck Lawyers Association, Past Chairperson of the Nassau County Bar Association Taxation Committee, Past Chairperson of the Trust Section of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and Past Chair of the Mental Health Committee of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law Section. Ron is a founding member of NAELA and has been a Fellow since 1991. Franchelle has been a member of NAELA since 1991. She is a charter member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners. She served as the first Chair of the Elder Law Committee of the South Carolina Bar from its formation in 2004 until 2006 and was recently selected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She is a frequent lecturer on estate planning, long-term care planning, and special needs planning, and is the author of South Carolina Elder Law: A Practice Manual, published by the South Carolina Bar and now in its third edition.

Rajiv has been a member of NAELA since 2002. He is a member of the Practice Development and Practice Management Section. He is past President of Life Care Planning Law Firms Association and a member of Washington State Bar Association Elder Law Section, Pierce County Bar Association, and South King County Bar Association Guardianship and Elder Law Section. Marie Elena has been a NAELA member since 1996. She is a member of the New York State, Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) since 2004. Catherine has been a NAELA member since 1997. She is a partner in the law firm of Kirtland & Seal, LLC in Colorado Springs and is one of only ten attorneys in Colorado designated a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. She also serves as chair of the NAELA Guardianship Section. She is a member of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section where she is a member of the Publications Committee and she is also a member of the Senior Lawyers Division. She is the Public Administrator for the Fourth Judicial District of Colorado. Ms. Seal received her law degree from the University of Colorado Law School and is the first person to be awarded an LLM in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. Ms. Seal has written Colorado Elder Law for Thomson West, which is a volume in the Colorado Practice Series. She is member of the Colorado Bar Association and of the CBA Trust & Estates Section and Elder Law Section and serves as the chair of the Elder Law Section.

Wendy has been a member of NAELA since 1999. She is a member of the Litigation and Advocacy Section and the Health Care Section and is a NAELA Fellow. She has served on the Publications Committee since 2002 and as Chair of that committee from 2006-2010. She has chaired the 2007 UnProgram, the 2008 Special Needs UnProgram and the 2010 Elder and Special Needs Law Annual Meeting, and serves as a member of the Finance Committee and as Vice Chair of the Program and Education Committee. She has served on the NAELA Program Review Working Group ( and its spin-off Program Restructuring Committee), and was the Chair of the subcommittee for restructuring the UnProgram, and served on the steering committees of the 2004 and 2007 Advanced Institutes, 2008 and 2009 UnPrograms and the 2006 and 2008 Symposiums. Wendy has received the Martindale Hubbell AV Preeminent rating.

Kristi has been a NAELA member since 1999. She is the co-chair for the 2011 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas and the Vice Editor in Chief of NAELA News. She sits on the Elder Law Section Council and the Public Relations Standing Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association, is a founding member of the Elder Law Committee of the South Dakota Bar, and lectures on a variety of Elder Law topics throughout the United States. She practices in both Illinois and South Dakota. Her public policy background includes local politics where she has held a variety of positions over 16 years that included Township Supervisor, Mayor and Alderman.
