Spouses of deployed Soldiers are eligible to sign up for a Blue Star Card,

which will give you discounts at FMWR facilities, activities and special

events. Your Blue Star Card will be valid throughout the entire deployment.

To get your card, visit Army Community Service on Schofeld Barracks or

Fort Shafter.

Are you a Blue Star Card holder but not receiving FMWR email updates? If so

please email amanda.p.montgomery@us.army.mil so we can register your

email address for Blue Star Card updates.

Join us for our annual Family and MWR Fun Fest and ITR

Travel Fair. Enjoy entertainment, inatables, craft booths,

game booths and food booths! Blue Star Card holders will

receive 10 FREE scrip per Blue Star Card Family Member.

*Please note, scrip is not valid for food booths. Registra-

tion is required for scrip and the deadline is April 15 by

12:00 pm. Visit www.bluestarcardhawaii.com to register.

You must pick up your reserved scrip before 12:00 pm the

day of the event in the Blue Star Card tent. We will alsobe giving away free movie tickets. Movie tickets will be

distributed on a rst come rst served basis, while supplies

last. For more information on the special Blue Star Card

Walk Off the Wait, May 3 Manoa Falls

Join us on our latest Blue Star Card hike to Manoa Falls, Tuesday,

May 10. Tucked in the back of the lush Manoa Valet is this

waterfall, which is commonly thought to be one of the most

beautiful sights in Oahu. Free transportation will be leaving from

the Schoeld Barracks Bowling Center parking lot at 8:30 am

and returning around 1 pm. The trail is not stroller accessible.

Make sure to pack sunscreen and plenty of water! You denitely

dont want to miss this hike! You will earn double punches on your

SUPERSTAR card!

Super Saturday Childcare, May 14 Petersen CDC &

Schoeld School Age Center

Super Saturday will be held on May 14, from 9 am 2 pm at

Petersen CDC and Schoeld Barracks School Age Center. To

participate in Super Saturday Childcare, patrons must be Blue Star

Card holders. Reservations may be made as early as 30 days prior

to the event. For more information on Super Saturday or to make a

reservation, call the Schoeld Barracks CYS Services Registration

Ofce at 655-5314 or the AMR Registration Ofce at 833-5393.

Big R: ARTafterDark, May 27 Honolulu Academy of Arts

Treat yourself to a night out on Friday, May 27, from 6:00 9:00 pm

at the Honolulu Academy of the Arts ARTafterDark. This monthly

art party is organized by a dynamic group of young volunteers

dedicated to exploring the arts. Mays theme is Marrakech

Express and will feature festive activities and entertainment. Blue

Star Card holders will receive free admission and priority entrance.

Transportation from Schoeld and childcare is available, but space

is limited. This is an adult only event and registration is required.
