Hamburger Fry Tickets Now On Sale The Hamburger Fry is a Greenwood tradition involving grades 6 – 12. It will be on Wednesday,
October 2 at Greenwood from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. All secondary students are encouraged to
attend and wear their class shirts. Students will eat hamburgers and compete against other grades
in fun games.
You must get your Hamburger Fry ticket on Storefront. Go to the Greenwood website at https://education.missouristate.edu/greenwood/ Click on Storefront/Events/Hamburger Fry Ticket
T-shirt sizes were collected in class, so we won’t be collecting sizes online at Storefront. The
Student Council already has everyone’s size.
Shirts have already been ordered. Please pay on storefront by October 2.

The soccer game vs. New Covenant will be on Friday, October 4, at 7:30 p.m. at Greenwood’s
Field #1 at Cooper Sports Complex, 2701 E Pythian in Springfield. Tailgate starts at 4:30.
Congratulations to the Homecoming Court: Alexandra Rosen. Kylie Schaller and Hannah Wasson. The Queen will be crowned at halftime.

The Book Fair is Coming!
October 14—18 The Scholastic book fair will be held in the Greenwood cafeteria and will have books for all ages. All sales benefit our library and classrooms.
College and Career Fair Where: University Plaza
When: October 8, 2019
Time: 5:00-7:00 p.m. – come and go as you would like
Breakout sessions on how to pay for college
This is a wonderful fair with SEVERAL college admission counselors representing throughout the Midwest.
Congratulations to the Junior High Boys Basketball Team!
They got 2nd place in the Humansville tournament this week.

High School Girls Tennis Team
Ball Girls and Boys Needed For Home Soccer Games They can be students who are third grade and up. Ball kids will receive a Greenwood Soccer T-shirt, courtesy of Greenwood Booster Club, to wear while helping on the sidelines! Middle school students can also get Civitas Discendo hours. All games are played on the Greenwood Field #1 at the Cooper Sports Complex at 2701 E Pythian in Springfield. Devin Sanford and Collin Clark Named As Future 50 Congratulations to these Greenwood 7
th graders who
were part of a handful of 7th graders from the south-
west Missouri area that were chosen.
Our goal at SWMOBasketball is to give student ath-letes exposure that they otherwise might not receive. We hope to provide something extra to help promote the sport and its athletes.
They pick a few kids in each grades 7-12 from different schools in southwest Missouri to honor and expose them.
