    Dr. Mike Mallin is the Director of Emergency Ultrasound and Ultrasound Fellowship Director at the University of Utah. He is the co-creator of the Ultrasound Podcast downloaded over 500,000 times in over 180 countries, One Minute Ultrasound smartphone app, and Sonoclo-ud.org. In 2012 he was nationally recognized by ACEP for his contribution to Emergency Ultrasound educa-tion.

    Anand Swaminathan completed his medical school training at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey New Jersey Medical School in 2005 and his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Bellevue/NYU Emergency Medicine Program in 2009. He is currently an ABEM board certied physician with an appointment as an assistant clinical professor of Emergency Medicine and assistant residency director at the Bellevue/NYU Medical Center.

    Dr. Matt Dawson is the Medical Director for Point of Care Ultrasound at the University of Kentucky. He is the co-creator of the One Minute Ultrasound smartphone app, Sonocloud.org, and the Ultrasound Podcast, which is downloaded over 30,000 times per month. He is also the Co-Author of Introduction to Bedside Ultra-sound Volumes 1 & 2, available in iTunes.

    Andrew is best known as the voice of the PEM ED Podcast (www.pemed.org). He is a board-certied emergency medicine physician and an assistant professor of emer-gency medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexing-ton, Kentucky. He trained in adult emergency medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Hous-ton before going on to complete a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine ~ Texas Childrens Hospital.

    Dr. Haney Mallemat completed a combined Emergency and Internal Medicine residency at Kings County Hospi-tal Center / SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. During his nal year he served as chief resident for the EM/IM pro-gram. He continued on to complete a two-year Critical Care Medicine fellowship at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He dedicated a sig-nicant portion of his training to Critical Care ultra-sound and Echocardiography. He completed both his critical care and echocardiography boards in 2010.

    Dr. Richard Levitan is an emergency physician, researcher, inventor, and is an internationally recog-nized expert in the area of emergency airway manage-ment. He has been published widely in leading peer-reviewed journals and has given over 350 invited lectures on airway management around the world.He invented the Airway Cam imaging system in 1994 when he was an emergency medicine resident at Bel-levue Hospital in NYC, and was subsequently granted a US patent for his invention.

    SCOTTWEINGART

    Scott Weingart chief of the division of Emergency Critical Care at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Also, the host of the Emcrit Blog and Podcast. He received his medical degree and completed a residen-cy in Emergency Medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Trauma and Surgi-cal Critical Care at the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

    ROBORMAN

    Dr. Rob Orman completed his medical education at Emory University before going on to emergency medi-cine residency at Denver Health Medical Center. A multi-ple award winning educator and lecturer, Rob distills complex ideas into useable nuggets. He is currently an attending emergency physician at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, CO.Rob is host of the ERCast podcast and a regular contribu-tor to EM:RAP.

    Led by Dr. Levitan, and using his own custom designed models, the airway workshop involves cricothy-rotomy practice with anatomically correct larynx models.

    Parents and families that want to come, but are hesitant about taking their children out of school is no longer an obstacle. We will have a schoolhouse on Atlantis.
