Making Block

3. Layer cut off one end at a 45° angle.

4. Stack all pieces right side up.

1. Cut 3L" Background squares diagonally in half.

5. With right sides together, sew the Background triangles to the Star Points. It is important that the tips hang out equally on both sides.

6. Assembly-line sew.

2. Stack two pairs of Purple and Green 2K x 6I" Star Point rectangles right sides together.

7. Press seams towards Star Points.

8. Trim off tips.

12. Press seams towards the Star Points.

13. Turn 90° and sew remaining seam.

9. Cut 9I" Background Square on both diagonals.

10. Lay out Star Points with Background Triangle and 2K" square. Make two sets of each color way.

11. Flip patches on right over patches on left and assembly line sew.

14. Press seams away from triangle.

15. Lay our Star Points with 2K" x 11H" Strips and Center Square. Flip vertical rows. Sew. Sew to complete the Rows. Press seams toward strips.

16. Press seams towards the Strips.

17. Sew Rows together. Press seams towards Strips.

Reverse side of block.

18. Square up block to 16H".
