EVENT REPORT

Blitzkrieg- 2010 was a Technical cum Fun Fest organized by the Information Technology Department of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, in association with ACM@MJCET on Apr 9th & 10th, 2010.

It was the FIRST EVER event to be held by the IT Dept of MJCET since its inception, in the year 2000. We made sure that all the participants had a wonderful time at the event and returned with bags full of prizes, certificates, knowledge and smiles!

'Blitzkrieg- 2010'.... swept everyone off their feet!

Blitzkrieg-2010 was launched amidst much pomp and grandeur on March 25th during the first Internals through the mouthpiece of ACM@MJCET- InfoVogue(the MJCET-IT newsletter).

Here is the final report of the event. It includes all the details of the

event, including the events list, the expenditure(inflows/outflows) behind the whole event as well as event-wise expenditure, the organizers of the various events and the support staff.

Round 1: One team member describes something without telling exactly what it is. The other player needs to guess that. Whoever gets maximum words in the stipulated time goes to the next round.

9. BEG, BORROW OR STEAL!

Chits are given to participants. They are required to get the ‘thing’ mentioned in the chit. They can either Beg, Borrow or simply Steal it from someone or somewhere and come back with the ‘thing’ in the stipulated time.

10. CHAIN QUIZ

Each member needs to play as a team while playing for themselves. The points get doubled each time a contestant gives the right answer and the score comes down to zero if the any contestant gives the wrong answer. *Globus gave us coupons worth Rs.62,000 which were distributed among the prize winners.

**Red FM (93.5) had an OB activity on Apr 9th at the college premises with 3 members of the Blitzkrieg Team (NabeelAdeni, Anisha Shastri & Husna Fatima) and they were on Air for 15 mins. Apart from this , Red FM also made daily announcements for Blitzkrieg -2010, 2 days prior to the event.

The entire team of Blitzkrieg-2010, including the Core Committee, Organizers and the Support staff would like to express their gratitude to the college Management, the Sultan-ul Uloom Society, the MJCET Alumni Association, HBL Power, City Online,Globus, Red FM and last, but by no means the least- the Information Technology Department for their unrelenting support, encouragement and guidance towards making this event happen.
