This Interiors Pricelist shows showroom prices Inc GST. Showroom price means the price you can suggest in your showroom. We offer a trade discount to bona fide retailers, decorators, designers, builders, decorators and

architects. Our Signature Collection has been a great success with acceptance by both trade and customers. It categorizes our Roller blind and Roman fabrics into four (4) price groups and is used for Roller, Roman and Panel Glides.

The Signature Collection Version 2.0 consists of one book in a complete binder and bag. The binder contains both plain, textured and metalized fabrics that are suitable for residential and commercial applications. Our main internal

products by category are:

ROLLERS

Simply Roller Signature 40 and Simply Roller Signature 60 is the simplified way of describing our standard 40mm Roller blind system and our extra heavy duty 60mm system. The Signature 40 is suitable for use in the majority of cases

and the Signature 60 is best used on very large blinds. Besides our high quality chain operated system with optional spring assist, we have priced the Rollers with a simple “add on” motorised option. We also offer a decelerator clutch

and technical systems from simple side guide wires to fully enclosed head box systems with or without side channels. We use high grade aluminium tube for our 44mm & 49mm heavy duty for the Simply Roller – Signature 40. Our

Simply Roller - Signature 60 also uses high grade aluminium 60mm tubes however, we are also able to use larger tubes with manual operation spring assist for Simply Roller – Signature 60. All systems can be motorised and spring

assist is also an option on all Signature 40 & Basics roller blinds.

ROMANS

Simply Romans are made in fabrics from our Signature Collection. There is a grid for continuous chain option and Somfy 40mm motors are a simple add on option after the Roman blind section. We offer an aluminium back batten

system to avoid pinholes and rippling in Roman blockouts, however sewing the pockets is our standard unless you specify otherwise. In some cases this may mean side hems will not be suitable. There is a 10% surcharge for

aluminium back battens. The timber battens can be painted or stained from our standard range of finishes or custom painted to order.

TIMBERS

We’ve always been well known for high quality woven timber, bamboo and timber venetian blinds. These are known as Simply Naturals. They are grouped together in the most comprehensive collection we’ve ever offered.

Our venetian blind slats are available in two materials, Western Red Cedar and Visionwood co-extruded PVC.

MOTORISATION

We recommend and use Somfy motors for blinds and Somfy Glydea system for curtain tracks.

OTHER

We endeavour to manufacture a wide range of interesting and unusual window furnishings in the wholesale space. Where possible we try to offer products that are a little different, giving our retailers a competitive advantage in the

market place. We have a strong feel for design which influences the range of products we choose to carry.

Our warranty covers five (5) years with certain conditions applying.

FRONT ROMAN

Our standard roman blind is manufactured with stitched pockets. If using a blockout fabric, we recommend using the Aluminium Back Battens. The fabric fixes over the front of the head rail. Roman comes with 55mm base hem &

30mm lathe. Available with optional 130mm pelmet.

ALUMINIUM BACK BATTENS

This system does away with stitch lines which can be a problem with blockout fabrics. This system produces a superior appearance especially with blockout fabrics as it eliminates any pin holes.

TIMBER BATTENS FRONT AND BACK

Select from our wide range of stained or painted battens available OR select a custom paint finish. When ordering this style of blind the timber battens must be on the front and back of the Roman blind.

The battens will always be the same colour front and back unless otherwise specified. The bottom of the blind is finished with a hemmed pocket.

FRONT PELMET ROMAN

This is the standard way that we make the Woven Timber and Chinois Eclectics range of Roman and Roll up Blinds. The front pelmet is designed to cover the components and incorporates front cord control.

NOTES

1. Simply Roman comes standard with a fabric-covered 40mm x 20mm timber head rail with cord lock. The cord is finished with a timber acorn.

2. Continuous plastic chain operation is available at additional cost. Stainless steel chain is not available.

3. Pocket spacing is preset at about 280mm for top pocket and 200mm after that. Stack height is approx 300mm.

4. To clean, simply dust regularly. Sponge clean stains or marks using a clean white cloth with a very mild soapy solution, then remove all detergent traces and pat dry. We recommend you test an area first.

5. 2 x Roman Blinds can be corded to the far right or far left to avoid a cord hanging in an opening. Please specify on order form if you require this feature - 5% surcharge.

NOTES

1. For cost of clear lacquer, painting or staining, refer above.

2. Group 2 Chinois do not come with standard bias edging.

3. 40mm head rail with cord locks, pelmets and a cord cleat is standard.

4. Motorisation is only available on front Romans.

5. To clean, simply dust regularly. Sponge clean stains or marks using a clean white cloth with a very mild soapy solution, then remove all detergent traces and pat dry. We recommend you test an area first.

6. Curtains only available for flat or fine weaves. Bias weaves only.

7. We do not recommend heavy Chinois weaves in group 2 over 5 square metres.

8. Chinois Group 2 fabrics are not available for Panels and Curtains.

9. Due to the child safety legislation, breakaway tassels are used on Roll-ups. Careful operation of blind and securing of cord is required.

10.Continuous plastic chain control is available at additional cost. Stainless steel chain is not available.

System Information

SHANGRI-LA IS A TRULY DECORATIVE ALTERNATIVE TO BLINDS AND CURTAINS

IT FEATURES THE SOFTNESS OF A CURTAIN WITH MOST OF THE FUNCTIONAL ATTRIBUTES OF A BLIND

AND IS TOTALLY FABRICATED IN AUSTRALIA

Measuring Precise width and length dimensions are critical as only limited alterations are possible once a shade is manufactured

The drop is measured in the “vane open” position. Blind will be approximately 15mm longer when closed

Face fixing: we recommend 75mm overlap each side of reveal

Control The standard plastic chain loops are 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, 1750mm, 2000mm

It is important to realise that there is no reverse stop on chain loops and that blinds are not intended to rise in the open position

Raising the blind in the open position can damage the fabric

Motorised control is available as an option.

Head box Shangri-La comes standard with a 90mm x 75mm head box

Non-head box option Shangri-La is optionally available without a head box. In this case our standard Roller blind system with stainless steel chain

and end brackets is used. This option is ideally suited to blinds fitted within a recessed pelmet box and in spaces of less than 90mm depth

Motorised Option The motorised option also uses our standard Roller blind system with a Somfy 40mm motor

No head box is available for the motorised Shangri-La

Vane Alignment Vane alignment is only possible under certain circumstances and should not be sold as a feature of this type of blind

Blinds with a combined width under 2900mm can be vane aligned if they are specified side by side. Otherwise variation of up to 5mm is deemed characteristic

Closure can be an issue especially with room-darkening Shangri-La.

It is characteristic of this type of product that the vane closure in the bottom section of the blind can be up to 15mm in the last 150mm of room darkening and up to 20mm in translucent.

This does not detract from the beauty or function of the shade, but room darkening should not be sold as “blackout” for this reason.

Cleaning The soft, delicate appearance of Shangri-La belies the durability of the material. Shangri-La is made from knitted polyester which is deceptively strong. It can be dusted with a feather duster

or vacuumed. A hair dryer on cold at low setting is useful if debris is lodged between the vanes. Spots or stains can be lightly rubbed clean with a damp sponge and mild soap.

Shangri-La can also be ultrasonically cleaned. To avoid discolouration, chemical cleaners should not be used.

Warranty Knitted fabrics may experience minor weave variations due to heat, humidity and other room conditions. These variations can result in slight bowing, puckering and fabric dimpling. This is

considered normal and does not constitute a failure in either workmanship or materials. Research has shown that these minor variations do not impact on the inherent beauty of the product.

Blinds by Peter Meyer warrants that Shangri-La Window Shadings will be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the products, provided it

is installed correctly. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse or failure to exercise reasonable care. It does not cover damage from water, repairs

or failure to clean the product reasonably.

ORDERS Only written orders can be accepted. To fast-track the processing of your order and to minimize errors, please use the order form at the back of the pricelist. Once a written order is received, it is considered official.

GST 10% gst is included in this price book.

DISCOUNT POLICY We offer a trade discount to bona fide retailers, decorators, designers and architects. As a manufacturer and supplier to trade clients, we do not offer a “free measure and quote” service to the public, preferring to recommend them

to our wholesale clients who provide that service. We can only provide quotes on specific products.

DELIVERY We deliver all over Australia. A flat rate of $40.00 incl GST on all orders. We reserve the right to charge freight on repairs and to review despatch charges on a case by case basis. Some remote regions will require a surcharge.

CREDIT For trade clients goods will be invoiced pro-forma until a 30 day account is established. 30 day accounts are subject to credit approval. Credit will be suspended on accounts in excess of 45 days. For non account customers all

goods must be paid for before goods leave our factory. All goods remain the property of Blinds by Peter Meyer until full payment is received. We accept Visa, Mastercard & Amex for payment of current accounts. Amex will incur

a 3% surcharge. Overdue accounts paid by credit card will attract a 2% bank charge.

PROMPT PAYMENT Prompt payment discount is only available to authorised 30 day account holders whose accounts are within terms and up to date and is 3.0% for payment within 7 days of invoice date. Credit card payments are accepted but prompt

payment discount is 2% if credit card is used.

WARRANTY Fabrics, workmanship and hardware are covered for Five (5) years from date of invoice. Warranty does not cover the cost of removal, re-installation or despatch. We cannot warrant against abuse, water damage, incorrect installation

or normal wear and tear. The most common cause of damage to blinds is windows being left open and the blinds left down. This is not covered by warranty. Warranty is on product only. Goods must be returned to factory for warranty

claims. We will not be responsible for costs involved in removal or re-installation of warranty claims. Our current carrier is TNT and returned goods will only be accepted on our account. Please call for account number and authorisation.

This warranty specifically covers blinds produced by Blinds by Peter Meyer. Batteries are not covered under this warranty. Bold areas for Venetians are larger than our recommended size and fall outside our warranty conditions.

Dye lots and fabric specifications can vary. Child safety devices must be fitted to claim warranty. Roller blinds with a 3:1 size ratio, ie drop should not be 3x longer than the width due to potential fabric cupping and tracking.

This may void the warranty.

PAINTING & STAINING We will match paint samples you provide as closely as possible. Please supply name and brand. We cannot guarantee a 100% accurate stain match on our woods as stains on Cedar will absorb differently to other timbers.

We can also match paint to fabric samples. Half (1/2) strength paint orders will require a sample, unless it’s a standard paint chart colour. This applies to both woven timber and timber venetians.

All custom finishes are POA.

VARIATIONS IN COLOUR Some variation in colour and texture can occur with fabrics, timbers and weaves; this is deemed acceptable. Remember, some samples are older and can vary from current stock. Variations in dye lots can occur.

We cannot be responsible for such variations.

MEASURE & FIT Blinds by Peter Meyer provide a measure and installation service for the trade in most metropolitan areas. Prices below are for Sydney metro. All other areas are POA.
