The month of January 2012flew by like a jet plane. Thank God our futureappears one-day-at-a-time!

New sermon seriesThe sermon series for thenext two months is“Harvesting Righteousness.” This series is focused onhow the Holy Spirit of Goddevelops spiritual fruit in thedaily life of each believer. I

refer you to Galatians 5 for a scriptural reference.

The aim of the series is to become more like God asHis righteous virtues consume our lives. The worldmay not need us, but it certainly needs Him and all Herepresents. May we grow in and exhibit His Love,His Joy, His Peace, His Patience, His Kindness, HisGoodness, His Gentleness, and His Self Control. Remember, there is no law against these things. Howamazing that such a statement could ever be true!!!We have seven more weeks to discover these realities. I’m looking forward to preaching this series. Pleasebring your friends and family.

The Youth/Children’s Committee is planning a trip tothe rodeo in Perry. The rodeo dates are February 23,24 and 25, however, the committee has not decidedwhich day the trip will be. Details including ticketinformation and the date will be forthcoming.

The Georgia National Rodeo has been designatedseven times as a Southeast Tourism Society “Top 20Event for the Month of February”.
