BRAY CHURCHES TOGETHER St Peter’s Parish hosted the annual Prayer Service for Church Unity Octave on Monday,
25 January, 2016. A capacity congregation representing all the Churches in Bray
attended. St Peter’s Folk Group provided the music, and were praised highly for their
singing. The homily was given by Venerable Archdeacon Edgar Swann, Retired Rector
of Greystones.
This year’s theme was from the First Letter of St Peter 2:9-10. ‘You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own peo-
ple.’ As a parish let us continue to pray for Christian Unity.
Bray Churches Together wish to thank all the people in St Peter’s parish whose work
and commitment made the occasion so memorable and worthwhile.
ARCHBISHOP ROMERO: are you happy to be at Mass today? ‘When we come together for Sunday Mass, our meeting should be known for its joy, the
result of being in contact with that God who loves us. We should sing, we should
participate.’
