Masses for the Week Again I would like to thank all of you who have been sending in your parish contribution envelopes to the Parish Office and who have returned your pledge cards for the Catholic Services Appeal, and even the couple of you who turned in pledge cards for the Bishop's Fund Drive, Our Shepherds Our Future. This would be in addition to those of you who have brought your contributions with you to the Sunday Masses. Remember that every little bit helps so thank you once again for your continuing support. This morning (I am writing this on Tuesday even-ing) we had our first weekday Mass since the Governor had required us to cocoon with her stay at home order. We had 10 people at Mass this morning and all seemed to go as well as it could. This past weekend our participation was up 8 people from the previous weekend with 68 participants at the Saturday, 4:30 p.m. anticipated Mass, 75 participants at the Sunday morning 9:00 a.m. Mass, and 40 participants at the Sunday morning 11:00 a.m. Mass. I figure that knowledge of these numbers will be one of the factors you would take into your consideration of if and when you feel it would be prudent for you to return to Mass with us. I don't know if the Bishop will extend his dispensation for Sunday Mass past the end of June, but if he doesn't and you are still concerned about your safety in joining us for Mass, let me know and I will be happy to grant you a dispensation until you feel it is appropriate for you to return with us. Even if it takes another month or two for all of us to gather together I am not certain that those weeks will matter in the big picture of the next 10 or 40 or 70 years of our lives. If you need my assistance please don't be afraid to ask. I would also like to thank all of you who so promptly responded to my offer to eat up the remaining fish from the fish fry that we weren't able to have. Lori informed me to-day that all of the fish was spoken for in one day, that is as of yesterday, Monday. I hope you enjoy it even though you won't be able to enjoy it in the company of your friends at the fish fry. For those of you who are preparing for First Holy Communion this year, Jody will be in contact with your fam-ilies about a possible date for the completion of your prepa-ration and the celebration of First Holy Communion. She is talking with the parents and considering the options of dates that might be when all could be available. Given that it is officially summer this week, and given how in the past things are hard to schedule for a group during the summer due to different vacation schedules, we are not sure if this summer will be a normal summer for you or if a summer with Covid-19 will change the travel plans of those of you who are gone for part of or most of the summer. Please look forward to her communication with you so that we can find a date that is optimal for all. A similar conversation will be had with those of you who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. I have been in contact with the Bishop's office concerning the process in the days of Covid-19 and after talking with Jody, Jody will be in contact with you to see what might work out best for all given the unknown nature of our future. Remember that this year we are living in the unknown world of the Church of Pentecost. Just like they didn't know what the Holy Spirit would bring to their futures so we don't know for certain what Covid-19 will bring to ours. But we will figure out something for the best of all as we contin-ue our adventure into the unknown.

What’s going on at the parish school?

If you are curious about campus hap-penings, there are numerous ways to stay connected.

Website: asagr.org contains the school calendar, latest announce-ments, information about our pro-grams, and so much more!

Email: Enrolled families, Toddler through 8th grade, automatically re-ceive regular email messages. During the school year the Friday email blast contains the most pertinent infor-mation for school families. All the email messages and blog posts year to date are also available on the Par-ent Communications page of our website.

Online Calendar: The ASA calendar is always available on our website, www.asagr.org./calendar-of-events.

Social Media: Follow us on Face-book (ASAEagles), Twitter (@ASAEagles) and/or Instagram (asa_eagles)

ASA App: Yes, there’s an app for that! Search for All Saints Academy by A+ Apps (look for our logo) in ei-ther the App Store or Play Store.

You can make your CSA donation by credit card online by visiting our parish website. On the main page there is a link to the Diocese of Grand Rapids website, grdiocese.org. That link will tell you how to make your donation. Don’t forget to reference Blessed Sac-rament when filling out the form.

Summer or Covid-19 Tithing

Now that summer is here and many of you will be away on vacation, have you remembered to drop off your contribution envelopes? If not, automatic giving might be a good solution for you. You can make your weekly or monthly Parish con-tribution via an automatic deduction from your checking or savings ac-count. You can find a form in the stewardship tower in the narthex, in the Parish Office or on our website. Fill out the form and return it to the Parish office by mail, hand deliver it, or you can drop it in the collection basket at Mass on the weekend.
