By appointment. Arrangements must be made at
least six months in advance. Active parish member-
ship required.

Senior News
Do you remember how Milwaukee looked during the 1930’s –
1990’s? Come and enjoy an interesting PowerPoint presentation
of the famous photographs of the city taken during this time pe-
riod by Lyle Oberwise. This presentation will be given by a repre-
sentative of the Milwaukee Historical Society.
This photographic showing will take place in Fr. Turner Hall
(Church Hall) at the next meeting of the Blessed Sacrament Sen-
iors at 1:15 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018. These pictures
will certainly bring back great memories!
We will also enjoy our annual Paczki treat. Be sure to wear your
favorite St. Valentine’s Day attire!
We will be collecting our annual dues of $10.00 at this meeting.
Bring along a friend and enjoy a wonderful afternoon!
Lenten Fish Frys
The first fish fry of the Lenten season will be held on Friday, Feb-
ruary 16th, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM. It will include all of your
favorites: baked and fried cod, french fries, parsley potatoes, cole-
slaw, mac & cheese, rye bread and dessert. Milk and coffee are
included; beer and soda will be available for purchase. The prices
are as follows and are all-you-can-eat: Adults $11.00, seniors
(55+) $10.00, kids (10 and under) $6.00, and all-you-can-eat mac
& cheese with french fries $6.00. Take-outs are also available.
Bakers and volunteers are always needed and appreciated. If you
would like to volunteer, please contact Mike Gaffney at (414)

Ash Wednesday / Day of Reflection
Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women
(MACCW) Waukesha Deaneries would like to invite women of
all faiths to attend a Day of Reflection at the Schoenstatt Center in
Waukesha (ocated at W284N698 Cherry Lane) on Ash Wednes-
day, February 14, 2018 from 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM The featured
speaker will be Carol Sullivan. The theme “Choosing Joy for Lent
& A Spiritual Toolbox” will help you begin you Lenten journey.
The non-refundable cost is $30.00 which includes continental
breakfast, speaker presentations, Mass, distribution of ashes and
luncheon. Listen to TV Channel 4, if Waukesha Schools are
closed, the retreat will be cancelled. It will be held the next day on
Thursday, February 15th. Donations of non-perishable food items
or personal care items are also requested for distribution in the
Waukesha Area.
Registration deadline is Thursday, February 1, 2018. You can

Baptism Class
New parents are reminded that they are expected to attend a class
on the Sacrament of Baptism before their first child is baptized.
The next class is scheduled for Saturday, February 11th, at 9:30
AM. Reservations should be made by calling the Parish Office at
(414) 649-4720.
Wanted: Jewelry You Don’t Want!
Cleaning out a jewelry box? St. Ann Center for Intergenerational
Care will put those out-of-style necklaces, broken bracelets, too-
small rings and more (even single earrings) to GREAT use. Vin-
tage jewelry, costume jewelry – they can use it all. Our knowl-
edgeable volunteers will sort it, clean it, repair it or imaginatively
reinvent it, price it and sell it. ALL proceeds fund the necessary
health & wellness day services for our clients of all ages and abili-
ties, from tiny infants to the frail elderly to those with severe dis-
abilities. Their sales are legendary and the donations so appreci-
ated!
You can drop pieces off at the front desk of either of their Mil-
waukee campuses, at 2801 E. Morgan Ave. or 2450 W. North
Ave., anytime between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. Or call Ross, (414) 977-5040, if you need items picked

Blessed Sacrament School News
Everyone is invited to Blessed Sacrament Open House on Friday,
February 2nd, from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. School will be in session,
you will have the opportunity to tour the school and gym.
Blessed Sacrament School is accepting applications for the 2018-
2019 school. Invite your friends and family to join the Blessed
Sacrament School family. We hope to see you there!
St. Vincent de Paul Society
The next meeting of the St. Vincent de Paul Society will be held
on Monday, February 5th at 6:30 PM in the rectory basement.
Please use the west entrance to the church.
