Mohawk College has made great strides on the path to developing a full spectrum of blended learning opportunities. Mohawk College’s Academic Plan calls for an innovative, flexible, technology-driven learning experience. The Centre for Teaching & Learning’s (CTL’s) blended learning initiatives are critical to realizing the College’s Future Ready objectives. Merging face-to-face and online learning opportunities improves student success while raising the college’s appeal to recruitment prospects. With improved access, students are inspired to learn on their own terms, making face-to-face time more personal and productive. Online content offers flexibility by reducing reliance on f2f learning and increasing online connections to content, peers and faculty. This report summarizes the findings of a 95-question review of more than 2000 Mohawk courses and offers an accurate picture of our blended progress.
