RATED CAPACITY: Rated capacity is for 6 in. to 9 in. (152 mm to 229 mm) using rotary or down-the-hole hammer drilling for depths up to 245 ft. (75 m). Depending on tooling diameter and weight.

STANDARD MOUNTING: Standard mounting for the C-700-D is a heavy-duty, RElCHdrill® Series 330EL, 23.6 in. (600 mm) wide Triple Grouser Type with 3 point oscillating suspension and a two speed hydraulically driven tram.

PULLDOWN SYSTEM: Up to 60,000 lbs. (27,216 kg) bit loading capacity with a maximum of rated pulldown of 50,000 lbs. (22,680 kg), 30,000 lbs. (13,608 kg) hoist capacity. Maximum hoist rate 262 fpm (80 mpm). Maximum feed rate 133 fpm (40.5 mpm). REGEN increases feed rate to 260 fpm (79 m/min). Chains: Two heavy duty roller chains 2 in. (51 mm) pitch. Stroke: 34 ft. (10.4 m) for 30 ft. (9.14 m) drill pipe or 40 ft. (12.2 m ) for 35 ft. (10.7 m ) drill pipe.

ROTARY HEAD: Dual motor, 0 to 135 rpm at 119,948 lbs-in (13,554 Nm) torque. (Based on 100% efficiency). Equipped with nylon guide shoes. Optional speeds and torques available.

AIR COMPRESSOR: 1070 -1700 CFM (30.3 m3/min-48.1m3/min) @ 125-500 PSI (8.6 -34.4 Bar).

POWER UNIT: Caterpillar or Cummins diesel engine, rated 540 HP to 860 HP ( 403 -641 Kw ) @ 1800 RPM with 600 gal. (2271 L) fuel capacity.

MAST: Heavy duty structural steel mast with angular stress members and steel plated reinforcement at high stress areas, total length 42 ft. (12.8 m) raised and lowered by two 6.5 in. (165 mm) diameter hydraulic cylinders equipped with safety counterbalance valves. Hydraulic powered mast lock pins are provided as standard equipment. Extended mast option available.

LEVELING JACKS: The C-700-D utilizes three (3) leveling jacks, 6.5 in. (165 mm) bore x 48 in. (1.2 m) stroke with integral check valves. 24 in. (610 mm) rear pads, 38 in. (965 mm) front pad.

COOLING PACKAGE:

L&M Radiator Company MESABI cooling package sized for – 33 deg. F to 110 deg. F ( -50 C to +45 C ) Ambient with electronic fan control to vary fan speeds. Optional 130 deg F ( + 54 C ) package available.

DRILL PIPE HANDLING: The standard C-700-D is equipped with a 4 + 1 hydraulic indexing barrel loader to handle 30 ft. (9.1 m) drill pipe up to 7.625 in. (194 mm) diameter. Hydraulic breakout and REICHdrill power tong system are standard. Also included is an 8,500 lb. (3856 kg) fixed-over-hole winch for pipe handling. Optional loader configurations available.

AIR FILTERS: lndividual heavy duty two stage dry type filters with a pre-cleaner for engine and compressor.

NIGHT LIGHTING: Eleven (11) halogen and four (4) Xenon HID shock mounted floodlights illuminate the mast, work deck table, machinery deck, walkways, and ground area around the drill.

OPERATOR’S CAB: Large isolated, angled, FOPS operator’s cab & control station allows the operator to face the drill table. Electric/hydraulic controls, air conditioning, sound abatement, & cab pressurization are provided as standard.
