Linea NeraTwo blends that belong at the apex of international espresso culture.

The two products in this line are characterized by a very intense, perfectly balanced flavour and an abundance of aromas. The beans are slow-roasted so that they achieve a thorough dark colour. The mixtures consist of the best Arabica beans with a high proportion of Ro-busta beans, all of them obtained by us in the country of origin.

LUSSURIALussuria is devoted to the traditional Italian espresso culture. It is a configuration for coffee gourmets looking for a full-bodied flavour in an intense espresso. Even prepared as a Cappuccino or Caffè Latte, this coffee retains its character and delights with its chocolaty, nutty notes.

Roast profile

Medium to dark roast.

Flavour

With an elegant note of acidity with some pro-

nounced bitter notes, yet with clear sweetness.

Aromas

Notes of nuts, nougat, liquorice and chocolate

are present. In the background, slightly smoky

and woody notes.

Body

Very robust and intense.

Preparation

Ideal for preparation by fully

and semi-automatic coffee

machines or by pod system.

Water temperature for scol-

ding between 90° and 94°C; if

the water hardness exceeds

18°fH we recommend the use

of a softening agent.

ROSSO & NEROAt the end of 2007, we were the first Swiss company to be accepted into the Italian organisation‚ Caffè Speciali Certificati, which stipulates the most stringent quality criteria ever for coffee. ROSSO & NERO is a popular espresso blend that satisfies all the criteria and is therefore the first blend to be assigned the CSC label by us.

Roast profile

Dark roast.

Flavour

Rich, but extremely well-balanced acidic and bit-

ter notes, distinctly sweet, a hint of saltiness.

Aromas

Notes of plain chocolate, nuts, blackberries and

fresh cream; in the background notes of caramel

and ripe apple.

Body

Rich and intensive, full-bodied but very well roun-

ded.

Preparation

Ideal for preparation by fully

Water temperature should

not exceed 91°C when it

passes over the coffee;

where water hardness ex-

ceeds 18°fH, we recommend

The quality criteria extend across every phase - from the harvest to the preparation of green coffee, then especially to transportation, through to storage and the processing of this first-rate coffee. The pro-cesses are ISO certified and monitored by independent bodies.
