SO FLYA flight of fancy for your finger? Yes, please. This little guy fluttered by and landed on a stretchy ring base. But not before we glammed him up with acrylic paint, silver glitter and a sprinkle of twinkle-twinkle gemstones.

WING ITThese are a few of our favorite things: hand-painted wooden charms, chunky gold glitter, and sweet paper tags. For this look, we strung them all together on velvet ribbon and knotted them to a pair of pretty chains.

INITIAL HEREThis antique-style pendant is an elegant nod to the all-things-chalkboard trend. We used a stencil and a chalkboard marker to personalize it. The piece looks great on a silver chain—or even on a pretty black ribbon.

Blank Slate lends itself to layering. Try stacking a whole handful of paper-light wood cutouts for easy-to-wear drama. But don’t stop there. Layer canvases, die cuts, frames

and trinkets to create a houseful of beyond-the-jewelry-box accessories. UPSTACKING

Here’s a great way to let the beauty of these delicate wood cutouts shine on your designs: dilute your paint with water. The thinned-out color will tint the charms without covering up the grain or the wood-burned details. If you’re feeling strictly au naturel, skip the paint altogether.

RING TRUEOur ephemera-inspired die cuts are great with our specially designed frames. But here’s another use: Cut them to size and découpage them to a wood blank. Then hang them from a chain or glue them to a ring base.

CROWNJEWELA photo-finish pendant (it comes already painted) and a hand-painted charm make this necklace a royal success. But the crowning glory is the personal snapshot—just adhere it to a mini-canvas, and slide it in the slot at the back of the frame.

WILDCARDS

To make the main pendant for

this piece—we call it our lucky

necklace—paint a mini-canvas black

and top it with a tiny playing card. Glue the finished

piece to a pendant bail, and then link to the chain with a

jump ring. We made découpaged earrings

to match.

WINNINGPINNINGFinding the perfect jewelry is an art—especially when that jewelry’s made from tiny canvases, designed to work with our sweet pocket-sized frames. For this look, paint a mini masterpiece and suspend it from some cup chain.

BY THE BOOKWe slid a mini canvas into an ornate frame to create this bookworm’s dream of a place-keeper. We topped the canvas with an embellishedfleur-de-lis charm before gluing the entire arrangement to a length of wide ribbon.

STUCKON YOUDecoupage die cuts to a roundwooden blank to make the base for this wish-upon-a-wing magnet. Then top it with a painted (and dotted with bling) wooden butterfly and back it with a heavy-duty craft magnet.1
