Using the à la Carte Collection.

Installation formats

Inset sinks

Inset sinks are installed from above

into a pre-prepared hole in your

worktop. It gives you the widest range

of sink shapes, sizes and styles to

choose from.

Undermount sinks

Undermount sinks are installed

underneath the work surface and

therefore require a solid surface

worktop such as granite or wood; they

are not compatible with laminate

work surfaces.

Belfast sinks

Belfast sinks can be used as either a

freestanding feature with brackets or sit

on top of the base units.

Having taken great care in selecting the furniture and appliances for your new kitchen it’s also important that the sink and tap you

select works for your space, your lifestyle now and into the future. The BLANCO á la Carte Collection represents a wide choice

of models, selected from the extensive BLANCO range. The collection lets you create your own sink and tap ‘pack’ - each sink

comes with a Chrome mixer tap included in the price but if you wish, you can choose to upgrade your tap from the á la Carte tap

selections – all at discounted prices. The savings don’t stop there though, you can select from a wide range of great value lighting,

waste disposal systems and waste management systems at discounted prices - when purchased with your sink and tap.

The size of your sink unit

It is essential to measure the cabinet width where your sink will be installed. The

bowl, or bowls in the case of a multi-bowl sink, will need to fit into this space. Each

sink in this brochure will show a cabinet size, and your cabinet width needs to be

equal to or greater than the stated measurement.

Things to consider:

1. Choose your ideal sink

Select the sink that suits you – are you a fan

of Stainless Steel or deep glazed Ceramic?

How about SILGRANIT®? BLANCO’s

market leading Granite composite material.

Temperature resistant, scratch resistant,

hygienic, tactile and available in up to 9 colours

- SILGRANIT® is as practical as it is beautiful.

Also, consider the installation method that

you need, see below information on things to

consider.

2. Choose a tap to suit you

The ARTI mixer tap in Chrome comes

included in the price of all the sinks in the

á la Carte Collection. The monobloc ARTI

is a popular and contemporary tap choice,

however, we have put together a menu of

over 100 tap upgrades (see page 67) if the

ARTI isn’t to your requirement. The upgrades

include our amazing new Smart Tap range,

semi-professional tap, and a wide selection of

contemporary and traditional taps.

3. The finishing touches

Turn a sink and a tap into a multi-functional,

creative space with the addition of some

ingenious accessories. From colanders and

caddies to food preparation boards and

crockery racks. Don’t forget those other

finishing touches either; we have put together

some fantastic discounts on a great range of

6 lighting accessories and the leading ISE

waste disposal systems. Create a sink centre

to be proud of at the heart of your home.

Low pressure

(Gravity-fed system)

You have a cold water tank in your

attic and a hot water tank in your airing

cupboard. You should choose taps

which state they are suitable for a low

pressure system.

High pressure

(Combi-boiler system)

You have a boiler unit but no hot

water cylinder, the boiler unit is

usually found in the kitchen and

delivers hot water on demand.

You should be able to choose

from most of our taps.

High pressure

(Pumped system)

You have a hot water cylinder with

an expansion vessel on top (often

called Megaflo), usually found in

the airing cupboard, but you do not

have a cold water tank. You should

be able to choose any of our taps.

At BLANCO we consider anything 0.3 bar or below as low pressure. Any higher is considered high pressure.

ARTI cruciform monobloc mixer tap.

The popular classic cruciform shape

is brought right up to date with the

modern ARTI tap. In chrome, the

quarter-turn ARTI will sit discreetly

in any kitchen whether traditional or

contemporary.

For long life and extra reliability the

body, base, handles and spout are

all fashioned in metal with a tough

chrome finish for easy cleaning.

Tap upgrades

In addition to the regular ARTI tap we have

included a large choice of tap upgrade possibilities.

See from page 67.

The selection includes monobloc taps with

individual control of hot and cold water or European

style single lever models. Other possibilities are

our pull-out spout models, making rinsing easier

and our latest innovation - Smart Taps. A range of

taps that answer individual kitchen needs - from

instant boiling filtered water to auto on/off control

with a wave of a hand or the EVOL-S that delivers

exactly the amount of water that you set it to. All at

fantastic upgrade prices when purchased as part

of an à la Carte sink and tap pack.

ISE food disposer

A growing concern to us all is food

waste; it is estimated that over 60%

of all household waste is food from

preparation and leftovers.

One solution to dispose effectively

of unwanted food is to fit your new

kitchen sink with a waste disposer.

The ISE unit is fitted in the sink

waste and shreds food into small

particles which are rinsed away with

the waste water. Just consider no

more bin smells in the summer and

less time required for wrapping up

unwanted food for safe disposal.

Cabinet WidthThe cabinet width measurement denotes the measurement (mm) which the sink bowl(s) need to fit into.

Sink Style OptionsInset: The frame of an inset sink sits on top of the work surface. These sinks are compatible with any work surface,

including laminate worktops.

Undermount: An undermount sink is installed underneath the worktop, only compatible with solid surface worktops

such as granite or solid wood.

Belfast: Belfast style sinks are installed either ‘dropped-on’ to a purpose-built cabinet or by using installation brackets.

Inset Sink ProfilesBLANCO sinks come with a range of different profiles.

Standard: Edge is rolled over to meet the worktop.

IF and IF/A: Unique 1mm flat edge profile for inset and flushmount installation.

IFU: Suitable for inset, flushmount and undermount.

Bowl ConfigurationEnsure you choose the correct sink configuration for your kitchen.

LHB, RHB and UNI (Universal): Indicates whether an inset sink is available with a

Left Hand Bowl (LHB) or Right Hand Bowl (RHB).

UNI (Universal) indicates an inset sink suitable for both left and right configurations.

If the sink does not have a drainer, the handing refers to the Main Bowl.

Water PressureBLANCO has a range of taps suitable for low and high pressure systems.
