FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER SERVICES Everyone must enter at the main gate located at 8348 Redbird Trail in Milton, Florida. All unlicensed, non-street legal vehicles must be trailered or hauled in and out of Clear Creek OHV Riding Area. All OHM/ATVs must remain within OHV riding area boundary fencing as shown on the Clear Creek OHV Riding Area map. Day Use Areas are open 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. All riders are expected to exit the front gate no later than 5:00 pm. Gate closes PROMPTLY at 5:00 pm. Do not leave trash on trails. Pack out trash/refuse. OHM/ATV operators under age 16 are required to have direct adult (18 or older) supervision in all areas, at all times, including while in the campground. Any person under the age of 16 must have in their possession certification indicating satisfactory completion of an approved OHV safety course in Florida or other jurisdiction. No double riding on OHMs, no exceptions. No double riding on ATVs unless unit was designed by the manufacturer for use by more than one rider. All riders must wear D.O.T. approved protective headgear designed for OHM/ATVs. All riders under age 16 must also wear eye protection and over ankle boots. All OHM/ATVs are required to have spark arresters and mufflers in accordance with Florida Highway Patrol Handbook. All riders are required to obey all traffic and information signs. OHV sound level must not exceed 96 decibels. Fees and Permits Campground InfoClear Creek Campground within the Clear Creek OHV Riding Area has 4 spacious primitive campsites, available for camping on Friday and Saturday nights. Trails are accessible from the campground.

All campers must check-in on 1st day of reservation by 5:00 pm to receive gate combination.

Check in at 3:00 pm and check out at 1:00 pm.

OHM/ATVs may be operated from the campground to riding areas in low gear at walking speed.

No riding after dark. This includes riding to the bathroom or in the campground.

Campfires are only permitted in grills or designated sites. Firewood on the forest floor may be picked up by hand and used in campground (not trailered). Use of chainsaws (gas, electric or battery) is prohibited.

Protect our trees as they provide beneficial shade. Do not cut, scar or mutilate them. Do not drive nails into or hang anything from trees. Use of tree straps is allowed.

All garbage must be disposed of properly.

Alcohol is prohibited.

CAMPSITES

Campsites may be reserved by phone in advance or when arriving at gatehouse if available.

Payment must be made at time of check in at gate house.

A permit is required for each OHM/ATV using Clear Creek OHV Riding Area. Annual permits are valid from July 1st-June 30th with no refunds. Single Day Use permits are also available.

Fees are pro-rated in January. Payment is accepted in U.S. funds by cash or check at the gatehouse.

Permits must be visibly displayed and permanently attached to the left front area of each OHM/ATV. Non-permitted OHM/ATVs will not be allowed entry. Persons operating OHM/ATVs without a permit will be subject to expulsion and/or fine.

Permits are issued for ATVs (including small side by sides meeting width/weight restrictions) and two-wheeled cycles (including dual sports).

No mopeds, golf carts, go carts, dune buggies, rail buggies or other street legal vehicles.

After July 1, 2002, all newly purchased off-highway vehicles (OHV), are required to be titled through the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. OHVs purchased in states not requiring titling are not required to be titled in Florida (T. Mark Schmidt Off-Highway Vehicle Safety & Recreation Act).

Trails are one-way only.

For motorcycles and ATVs, ATVs must be 50” or less in width on eastside of Redbird Trail. UTVs must be 65” or less in width on westside.
