CONCLUSION

BG College Artisan Skills training has a passionate and honest commitment to the success of skills development in South Africa, as demonstrated by the construction and development of an excellent campus facility and training areas without any grants or outside funding whatsoever.

The company thus follows a methodology of training that effectively supports practical, outcome based training illustrated by their uniquely constructed campus simulating a real workplace. This takes place with a transfer of methods and skills that will enable and empower students to apply their newly gained knowledge and skills in a practical and economically self-sufficient way.

BG College Artisan Skills Training has tirelessly been working to offer a package of innovative and ground breaking training models under the auspices of one training provider, focused on integrating

workplace training with theoretical training.

From the start BG College’s vision has been to enable trainees to enter the formal workforce or create a means of independent income for themselves.

As a result, BG College Artisan Skills training has distinguished themselves from the beginning by not only creating a training model and quality management system that qualified them to get them SETA accreditation, but also provide a training structure and style that teaches learners practically and arm them with the required skills to be workforce ready and to get employed with their portfolio of skills that they are able and confident to apply in the working environment.

With BG College Artisan Skills Training model, many young learners have been taught and skilled in such a unique and practical way that they could easily enter the labor market for the first time, having received the skills levels and work readiness that is required in the unique and practically constructed BG College workshops which helped them to get employed in as one day from graduating at BG College.

From the outset we at BG College Artisan Skills Training envisioned and committed to the future economic development and success of South Africa through

the training of competent, efficient Artisans.

Concluding Remarks from the Finance Executive

“BG College complies with ethical standards in all its dealings, internally and externally. It’s a registed entity meaning its legally allowed to provide services to the clients and its no way a “fly by night” as some people may assume. The college is financially viable and therefore there are huge prospects for growth in the next couple of months. As a new college, we might be facing some challenges here and there but the solutions are in our hands.

The management of BG College is keen to see the establishment advancing to higher levels and we see ourselves as the best Artisan college in the province in the next five years. We have strategised our operations in such a way that will ensure success, so the “going concern aspect” is assured”.
