We have many talented designers, horticulturists and enthusi-astic local youths that have worked very hard to display theirvast talents for your viewing pleasure.

Naples Garden Club (NGC) is a non-profit community-oriented char-itable and educational organization. It is a member of National Gar-den Clubs, Inc. Deep South Region and Florida Federation of GardenClubs, Inc. District IX. The NGC office is located at Naples BotanicalGarden (NBG).

Membership in Naples Garden Club kindles friendships and inspiresconnections among individuals who want to foster appreciation andunderstanding of horticulture, floral design and the environment.General meetings are held on the first Monday of each month fromNovember through April. Monthly meetings take place in the KapnickBuilding, Buehler Auditorium, located at NBG, or the Moorings Pres-byterian Church (see website for details). NGC offers interactiveworkshops to members in floral design and horticulture along withfield trips and speakers.

For sixty years, Naples Garden Club’s House and Garden Tour hasbeen a highlight of the Season. This perennially sold-out event show-cases unique homes and inspiring gardens while raising funds thatsupport scholarships and community projects.

The Naples Garden Club Endowment annually awards financialassistance to a selected student who conducts research in plant sci-ences at Florida Gulf Coast University’s Kapnick Education and Re-search Center. This endowed fellowship continues the Garden Club’sdecades-long practice of awarding scholarships to benefit the com-munity.

Naples Garden Club in partnership with Naples Botanical Gardenpresents the juried Naples Flower Show, the largest flower show inSWFL. Thousands enjoy spectacular floral designs, exotic plants, educational displays, interactive demonstrations, entertainment, andshopping in a beautiful tropical setting.

The Idea Garden at Naples Botanical Garden, funded by NaplesGarden Club in 2010, opens eyes to new ways of enjoying sustain-able gardening techniques in Southwest Florida. It is a place to learnpractical ways to create beauty with plants, grow one’s own food andconserve water.

Naples Garden Cub welcomes new members. Those interestedshould reside in the Naples area for a minimum of four months during“season”, attend a membership meeting, be sponsored by a Clubmember, approved by the NGC Board, fulfill Provisional requirementsand participate in Club activities.
