The Bar At the heart of a good inn is a well-kept bar serving traditional cask ale. With an abundance of great Yorkshire ales to select from we know you won’t be disappointed. Our wine selection is personally chosen to tantalise with the widest possible range from every corner of the world. Where better to enjoy all this than in our cosy bar by a well-lit open fire or during the summer, basking in the sun in our sheltered courtyard – another well kept secret.

Eating with usFood is our specialty – with three separate dining areas to choose from. Our talented team of chefs prepare fresh food daily from locally sourced produce. With a menu which changes seasonably our reputation for great food is not such a secret. Many awards and accolades have been bestowed during recent years which motivates us to push standards even higher.
