    Black American Perspectives (6)

"Science without conscience is but the ruin of the soul." Franois Rabelais, Pantagruel (1532) 1

The Tuskegee Syphilis Study"The future of the Negro lies more in the research laboratory than in the schools When diseased, he should be registered and

forced to take treatment before he offers his diseased mind and body on the altar of academic and professional

education." Thomas Murrell, M.D.,, U.S. Public Health Service, 1910." 2

The Tuskegee Syphilis Study is arguably the most

infamous bio-medical research study in the history of our

country. In 1932, the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS)

launched its "Study of Syphilis in the Untreated Negro

Male." 3 While the study promised free medical care to

hundreds of sick and desperately poor sharecroppers in

Macon County, Alabama, the U.S. Public Health Service lied to the brothers

convincing them that they were being treated, not studied.

Radiation Experiments On Black Americans"Many African Americans' distrust in today's medical establishment can be attributed to Tuskegee."" Dr. Carl C. Bell, Executive

Director of Chicago's Community Mental Health Council 4

As far back as the early 1900s doctors believed

radiation could turn a Black man White, as seen here

by a New York American newspaper ad, dated Sunday,

    January 10th, 1904. 5 However, Ebb Cade, a 55-year-old

Black truck driver, became the first American to be

injected with plutonium under the direction of the U.S.

Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) and the Department of Energy (DOE). 6 On

Saturday, March 24, 1945, Mr. Cade was admitted to the U.S. Army Manhattan

Engineer District Hospital in Oakridge, Tennessee for treatment of bodily injuriesresulting from a car accident. The extent of his injuries were so severe that his

doctors did not expect him to live. Nevertheless, Ebb was recovering miraculously,

that is until the AEC paid him a visit on Tuesday, April 10, 1945. 7 The documents

show that Mr. Cade was injected with 0.29 microcuries of plutonium 239, a dose

equal to 1,030 rems or 41.2 times what the average person receives in a lifetime. 8

Just like the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, Ebb thought his doctors were caring for him.

Black Americans And The Return Of The Brain Cutters

"In the tradition of Freeman's mutilation of children and aggressive adults, he [University of Mississippi neurosurgeon Orland J.Andy, M.D.] simply operates and operates and operates until the child causes no more trouble." Peter R . Breggin, M.D.,

    Psychiatrist 9

University of Mississippi neurosurgeon Orland J.

Andy, M.D., a believer in Psychosurgery, performed many

types of brain ablations, including thalamotomies

(destruction of the thalamus, which controls emotions and

analyzes sensations in the brain), on Black American

children as young as six (6). 10 According to Harriet A.

Washington, J.M., a [Black] boy of nine with normal

intelligence, is described as "hyperactive" and

"aggressive" by his doctor. To make J.M. easier to

manage, he is scheduled for brain surgery. Peter R.

Breggin, M.D. says: "Holes are drilled through his skull and electrodes are passed

deep into his brain to coagulate both sides of the the posterior section of the

forebrain, the emotion-regulating center of the brain. Nine months later, the

operation is repeated on one side." 11 At this point Andy reports that J.M.'s behavior

is improved. However, a year passes and J.M.'s symptoms reappear, so he is

subjected to more brain surgery. This time to the fornix, another portion of the

brain's emotion-regulating system and as you and I would expect, J.M. is eveneasier to manage. Nevertheless, in the end, Andy admits that "intellectually" J.M. is

deteriorating. 12 I just can't imagine what behaviorAndy witnessed in a nine (9) year

old boy that moved him to repeatedly cut out portions of his brain.

Culture Without Conscience Is But The Ruin Of A Country"Each country will have to decide its own form of coercion and determine when and how it should be employed. At present, the

means available are compulsory sterilization and compulsory abortion. Perhaps someday a way of enforcing compulsory birth

control will be feasible." Alan Frank Guttmacher(1893-1974), former president of the Planned Parenthood 13

According the Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI), 67% of

Black pregnancies are unintended. 14 According to the

Centers for Disease Control (CDC), while only 12% of

the U.S. population, Black women accounted for 40.2%

of all abortions in 2008, Black women obtained the

highest percentage of abortions after 13 weeks gestation

and while abortion rates for others have decreased,

abortion rates forBlack women have increased. 15 To get

an idea of the impact of abortion in Black America, consider the number ofBlack Americans lynched in the

U.S. between 1864 and 1968: 4,946 or 47.7 per year and compare the number of

Black Americans lynched to the number of Black babies aborted between 1973

and 2011: 17,653,000 or currently about 470,000 per year and you'll understand

that the ratio of Black babies killed by abortion to Black Americans killed by

lynching is 3,569 to 1. 16 The abortion numbers in Black America alone are

genocidal, but when you learn that 49% of the 6.7 million pregnancies in the United

States each year (3.2 million) are unintended, that at least 1 million abortions are

performed annually, 17 that the total number of abortions in the United States from

1967-2011 is over 55 million, and that the 55 million babies aborted are more than

    the population of the seventy-two (72) largest U.S. cities (54,899,885 for 2011),

you're getting the picture. 18 However, when you realize that after forty (40) years

abortion is still legal in America and that Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion

provider in the country, is supported by $487 million U.S. taxpayer dollars, 19 you'll

have more than a picture. You'll know that abortion is just the latest syphilis

study, radiation experiment and brain surgery in Black America and that we as

country, are a corrupt and callous culture without a conscience facing ruin.

Brothers, we really need to talk.
