As we begin our move to our newest build- ing, you will notice five of our classrooms have a different look. These are our TEAL classrooms. We have four on the first floor and a larger one on the second floor. So what is TEAL? TEAL stands for Technol- ogy Enhanced Active Learning. We have all heard statistics similar to these: You remember approximately 10% of what you read. You remember approximately 20% of what you hear. You remember approximately 30% of what you see. You remember approximately 50% of what you hear & see together. You remember approximately 70% of what you say. You remember approximately 90% of what you do. Goals of the TEAL classrooms include promoting active learning and providing an environment conducive to this. More to come! Stay tuned.
