We have added two new components to Blackboard this year— Community and Content. Having Community allows us to set up clubs, organizations, and sports teams within Blackboard. Organizations function much like a classroom. They provide a place for you to: Post announcements Add dates to a calendar Send e-mails to members Share pictures Have virtual discussions Post minutes Record attendance You can personalize your organization’s site. Notice Katy’s banner above for the French National Honor Society. You can set your club to be self-enroll or manual enroll. Another option is to allow enrollment with a code you have provided. Mr. Inman has used BlackBoard quiz- zes, assignments, and posts effectively this year. Ms. Trejo who gives an outline of what we did in each class in case you miss it.
