This workshop will explore all the elements of transforming creative ideas into tangible solutions - from designing logos to writing creative copy. Learn the steps, the crucial elements and become a pro!

Responsible Consumer Engagement (10:35 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.) As technology has enabled us to move quickly into the era of big data and 1:1 communications; changing privacy legislation and a skeptical public have created a heightened awareness (and in some cases… fear) of the risks and pitfalls associated with using this data. This comes in direct contrast to the incredible business potential that has also presented itself by this very same data. The good news is that if we practice ‘responsible customer engagement’, we can create a ‘win-win’ exchange with our customers.

The Visual Revolution (11:40 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) As Facebook users post 300 million images a day, Instagram logs 8,500 likes a second and YouTube streams 133,000 hours of video per day, it is evident that the visual web is shifting the way we ‘see’ marketing. An inside view of the ways marketers and publishers are using visual images, video and info graphics to create viral content that can educate, inspire, engage and entertain audiences around the world.

The Power of Promotional Products (1:20 p.m. – 2:10 p.m.) In the current marketplace with cut-throat competition, it is difficult for any company to appeal to potential shoppers. Promotional items are visible advertisements presented through items in which people are inclined to use in their daily living. The effective use of promotional products can leave a lasting impression on your business and marketing efforts. It opens lines of communication with your consumers, draws attention, increases brand recognition and brand exposure.

Marketing Strategy Development (2:25 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.) More than ever, businesses are now operating in dynamic and evolving industries. There is an ebb and flow to company resources. The competition grows tougher as firms adjust their strategies to actively change their product's attributes, branding or message. Consumers' preferences change. Mature brands need to be refreshed. This is the complexity of marketing. Winning in this game of business is why marketing strategy development is warranted. Having a solid marketing strategy in place will help define goals and develop activities to achieve them.
