Quality has its price. But why pay more? Thebizhub C250 reduces print costs and improvesimaging thanks to Simitri TM, Konica Minolta’s in-novative polymerised toner. Its oil-free, extra-fineparticles produce sharp black-and-white textsand bright, colourful matt or glossy illustrations.

The bizhub C250 is equipped with a high-precisionprint engine comprising four separate imagingunits for two reasons: speed and image accuracy.

EmperonTM also features such highlights asmixplex to combine single and double-sidedpages in one job, as well as the convenienceof PC faxing with the fax option. And becausethe EmperonTM controller can process one jobwhile the engine prints the previous one, thebizhub C250 always delivers your print jobs atmaximum speed.

The large touch screen makes the bizhub C250easy to operate and it also encompasses auto-matic features such as paper size recognition,paper tray selection, colour and black-and-white recognition, auto size zooming and autoswitching from an empty to a full paper tray.All you have to do is position your originalsand hit the start key.

The new bizhub C250 is a versatile multifunc-tional device with unprecedented performancecapabilities. Its features are designed to simplifyoperations, improve workflow, and increase pro-ductivity.

Our unique EmperonTM print controller enablesthe bizhub C250 to offer comprehensive printing functionality with PCL 6c and Post-Script 3 standard. Emperon’sTM intuitive inter-face ensures fast and easy settings, even forcomplex print jobs. And EasySet facilitatesprint job configurations that can also be trans-ferred to other bizhub users.

Additional useful features are also available tomeet your specific needs. With Image Repeat,for example, you can quickly and easily pro-duce multiple business cards on an A4 sheet.Or use N-up to copy more than one originalonto a page to save paper.

As opposed to desktop scanning, you canscan whole documents in one shot via theoptional document feeder and eMail them orsend them to your PC, network server or Per-sonal Box. You can choose between PDF orCompact PDF for the quick and easy mailingof large documents, and images can also bescanned to JPEGs for your next presentation.

Up to 2,100 eMail, FTP and SMB addressescan be easily accessed from the C250’smemory for easy use. And thanks to its LDAPsupport, you can directly access your com-pany’s eMail database. Yet another conven-ience: if the same scan job is used regularly,save your settings and all destinations undera one-touch button.

Cost transparency and cost allocation areimportant office communication issues andthe bizhub C250 offers two effective costcontrol and management utilities: the compre-hensive cost-centre management systemcounts all the pages produced by individualusers or departments and facilitates the costallocation to specified profit centres. With thePageScope Data Administrator, this systemcan be completely set-up via the network.

The User Authentication feature enables youto specify up to 1,000 users for individualaccess to any or all of the device’s functionsas well as to black-and-white and colour jobs.The allocation of limited output volumes toindividual users or groups is also possible. If you want to operate more than one bizhubC250 or your staff exceeds 1,000 employees,simply hook them up to the Windows ActiveDirectory server and make user access to all devices even more convenient by adoptingPC usernames and passwords.

Many businesses still rely on faxes to distributedocuments that are only available on paper.The bizhub C250 can be upgraded with aninnovate Super G3 fax featuring confidentialfax transmission and receipt, polling for fax oncall, digital fax receipt and image download.You can also automatically redirect faxes towhere you need them or re-route faxes fromcertain senders to a specified Personal Box.

Konica Minolta’s Personal Box extends thescope of the bizhub C250 beyond that of a multifunctional device. Up to 1,000Personal and Public Boxes can be set up on the standard 40 GB hard drive that resem-ble PC folders. Each box can combine copyand print jobs for fast reprinting without add-itional processing, scan files for downloadingand transmission inside or outside your com-pany, and fax documents for archiving orrerouting. Public Boxes facilitate the sharing of information and provide access to frequentlyneeded files (like forms). Personal Boxes require an access code thatmakes it easy to manage confidential files andkeep them secure.

To support this feature, both the first tray and the bypass allow direct feeding up to 256 g/m2.You can also print your logo or latest slogan on envelopes to give your mailings that extra-professional touch! OHP films and address labels,logo stickers and other special media can all befed directly from these two trays.
