    Friends of Waunakee Performing Arts invite you to the 10th Anniversary A Fine ArtsBenefit at the Waunakee High School Performing Arts Center, 301 Community Drive,on Saturday, September 22 at 7:00pm. The performance will feature Waunakee Alumni,Jeremy Henning, Jennifer Johnson and Dan Collins. General admission: $15 Adults, $10Students and Senior Citizens Tickets will be sold at the Waunakee High School box office,Ace Hardware, Hometown Pharmacy, Waunakee Senior Center and at the door. For moreinformation call 849-2100 x2801. Octopi Brewing Company is turning 3, and in true Wisconsin fashion, they are throwing anAnniversary Party to celebrate! Join them on Saturday, September 22nd from 12-9pm at 1131Uniek Dr in Waunakee. They will be hosting a full day of fun activities for the whole family,including face painting and a bounce obstacle course for the younger ones; an onsite photo'booth' for plenty of photo opportunities; and a dunk tank, with the chance to 'Dunk aBrewer.' Village of Waunakee staff will be observing National Voter Registration Day by offeringregistration to new voters, voters who have moved, and voters who have changed theirnames on Tuesday, September 25 from 9am-6:30pm at the Village Center, 333 S. MadisonStreet in Waunakee. How do you know if you need to register? Visit the website to searchyour name and date of birth. If the search is successful in locating your information and yourname and current address are correct, you don't need to do anything more...unless, ofcourse, you move or change your name between now and Election Day on November 6,2018. If the search is unsuccessful, then most likely you will need to register. You need toprovide a proof of residence document when registering which includes your current nameand residential address in the Village of Waunakee: a valid State of Wisconsin driver licenseor ID, real estate tax bill, bank statement, paycheck, residential lease, or utility bill. Avoiddelays and long lines on Election Day and take this opportunity to register ahead of time! You are invited to take the Greater Madison Vision's scenario survey! If you live, work or playin the Greater Madison Region, help future leaders learn what is most important to you! Takethe 10-minute online survey to share your views on how the region should grow and develop.The online survey shows four alternative futures dealing with housing, jobs, transportation,roads, rural preservation, water and the environment. Residents can choose from alternativefutures focusing on innovation, conservation, community and self-reliance and provide theiropinion on how the region should grow. Anyone high school age or older who lives, works orspends time in Dane County is encouraged to take the survey.

    The In Business Expo and Conference will be held on October 24th at the Exhibition Hall atthe Alliant Energy Center. This is Madison's premiere business-to-business expo connectingvisitors with over 115 exhibitors and 1100 professionals.     The meals are specially-designed, nutritious mealsthat consist of fortified soybeans, rice, vitamins andminerals. Volunteers will be measuring the variousingredients, weighing and sealing the bags, andboxing the finished product. People of all ages canvolunteer to help. The goal for 2018 is 333,000meals! Each meal only cost 15 cents; to purchase theingredients, $50,000 needs to be raised ! Donate

    Meals willbe shippedto Haiti and other places in need around theworld. 75,000 meals will be given to Dane Co.Community Action Coalition for distribution to over50 local food pantries. Volunteers neededto help package the food! Four shifts available...10-11:30am, 12-1:30pm, 2-3:30pm , 4-5:30pm4pm shift will feature loud music & lots of students!

    Volunteers also needed to help carry supplies andfinished boxes. Need to be able to lift 50 lbs.

    10am-2pm, 2-6pm. Thank you for your support as together theWaunakee community tries to make a smalldifference in the lives of those less fortunate.
