NAIDOC WEEK PLAYGROUPTuesday 3rd July saw the Centre hold a special playgroup to celebrate NAIDOC Week. What a fun day!! With over 20 children and 12 parents, aunties, uncles, grandparents and carers in attendance everyone had a great day.

The air was filled with the sounds of a didgeridoo and the children had fun joining in with clap sticks, rainmakers and kulups. Thanks to Rasmussen School for the loan of the instruments.

Darren helped out at the art table and showed the children how to do their own traditional dot

painting. Michael Baker. (pictured above), had fun joining in.

Everyone enjoyed the morning tea and thanks must go to the girls from Fudge n Stuff who donated lots of yummy brownies and cookies which disappeared very quickly.

The day ended with a tour of the community Garden.
