Dear Bishop Walker:

I write with my deep thanks and to convey to you the gratitude on behalf of my colleagues for the cherished opportunity to participate in the home going service of the late Evangelist Karen C. Darby. We are grateful for your hospitality, candor and willingness to listen to our concerns. What began as a turbulent start ended in a unified edification of Christian brotherly love?

The representation of the episcopacy at Love Fellowship was outstanding. The sainted Evangelist Darby received the type of home going service exemplary of the life she taught about and believed in. The undeniable move of God was authentic and will never be forgotten. The extraordinary demonstration of evangelism and the sensitivity to the Holy Spirit allowed the service to become a day of deliverance and salvation for the family, friends and clergyman alike.

In closing, I wanted to personally thank you for allowing me to work alongside of you in handling an arduous assignment for a grieving family; who may have not have conducted themselves in the best light. I am heartened by your expression of support which will not be forgotten.

Bishop Walker, as a consequence of our meeting I hope we have established the beginning of a congenial acquaintance. I look forward to working with you again under more joyous circumstances. Most particularly I would like to request your prayerful consideration of mentoring my decision to join the board of Bishops in the forthcoming year.

In His service,

Bishop J. Fitzgerald Adams
