dear Parents and Friends of bishop montgomery boys basketball,

welcome to the 2012-2013 boys’ basketball season! The coaches, under the direction of head coach doug mitchell, have worked hard to prepare our teams on every level to meet the challenges ahead. i know that all of the young men who have chosen to participate in this program have made a commitment to develop their talent and their character by working hard in practice and giving their all in games. as a result, we look forward to contests filled with excitement and excellent play in the best bishop montgomery tradition. coach mitchell’s passion for the game is legendary as are his insistence on hard work, and his value for team play. i look forward, as i know you do, to watching the results of the many hours of hard work on the practice floor. This will be a very exciting season!

Thanks to all of you, parents and friends, who give support to these young men in their academic and athletic endeavors. Thanks, too, to the many people who make the winter sport season possible, particularly alexa Johnson, athletic administrator, Kareem mutrie and ed hodgkiss, our athletic directors, as well as our assistant Principal, steve miller. without the willingness of the many parents who give their time to security or as members of the booster club, the season could not happen.

welcome to the 2012-2013 basketball season! coach doug mitchell and his staff have been hard at work in order to put together another successful team here at bishop. The effort and enthusiasm these young men have put forth will no doubt shine through in the coming months. Their commitment and intensity will certainly continue the strong tradition that defines bishop montgomery boys basketball as they are poised to make a deep run in the section and state Playoffs! i am excited to watch our Knights this season as i am sure you are.

Thank you to all the parents, teachers, staff members, student body and sponsors who support and contribute to the success of this program. as you well know, the basketball Program has a tremendous tradition of success. This tradition is not possible without the support of everyone in the bishop montgomery community. i am thankful everyday for the support and passion that keep this program successful and i know that coach mitchell and every young man in the program appreciate and rely on your continued support.
