Conclusions

Working through networks like BAPNET fully in line with CGIAR's and Bioversity's partnership strategies

CRP RTB and Bioversity's strategic objectives as framework for joint banana work with BAPNET conservation and use of Musa germplasm (SOs 3 & 4); Foc TR4 and BBTV management (SOs 1 & 2)

Move towards development outcomes and impact requires both research and development partners

Way ahead: increased pooling of human and financial resources for higher impact
