Four films, engineered for the most demanding applications Our films are engineered to meet the most demanding requirements of your bioproduction processes. Choose between: • Thermo Scientific Aegis 5-14 Film—for high-value applications • Thermo Scientific CX5-14 Film—one of the most widely used films in the industry, proven over 10 years • Thermo Scientific ASI 26/77 Film—a two layered film with extremely low extractables, for high-value applications • Thermo Scientific ASI 28 Film—a robust, four-layer film with excellent oxygen- and moisture-barrier properties Three film formulations • Thermo Scientific Aegis5-14 and CX5-14 films are 5–layer, 14 mil cast film produced in a cGMP facility. The outer layer is a polyester elastomer coextruded with an ethyl vinyl alcohol (EVOH) barrier layer and a low-density polyethylene product contact layer. • The ASI 26/77 polyethylene (PE) single-use bag systems are produced in a cGMP facility, utilizing two films: a fluid contact film and a durable, coextruded outer-layer film • The ASI 28 film is an ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) coextruded film produced in a cGMP facility. This film provides an excellent, highly durable moisture and oxygen barrier

Two sources, for assured supplySince we offer bioprocess containers (BPCs) manufactured from different families of films, we can also provide dual sourcing. Our BPCs are manufactured in three efficient, cGMP-compliant manufacturing sites: two in North America—Logan, UT, and Millersburg, PA—and one in Cramlington, UK.
