Mirel™ biopolymer color masterbatches are based on a polymer that is made by using renewable resources. The base material offers various End-of-Life options such as industrial composting, home composting, soil degradation, marine degradation or anaerobic digestion. MirelTM based masterbatches enable higher pigment loading and provide an easy to handle and disperse alternative to the compounders and processors.

M●vera™ biopolymer color masterbatches are industrial compostable and can be processed with various biopolymers such as PBAT, PLA, PBS or PCL. They ensure excellent color dispersion in various plastics processing techniques. The use of M-Vera masterbatches ensures that the requirements of EN13432 and D6400 for compostable products are met.

Data presented in the tables above was generated by Metabolix and AF-Color®. The data represent typical values. The described color master batches are based on AF-Color technology.

No colorants containing lead, cadmium, diaryl or AZO pigments are being used in Mirel™ and M●vera™ color masterbatches.
