Am I eligible?To be eligible for the Exchange program you must:

• be currently enrolled in a full degree program

• have a minimum GPA of 4.5

• have successfully completed at least one year of full-time study (24 credit points at JCU) by the time you depart for your exchange

• have approval from your College

Financial AssistanceAustralian Government Endeavour Mobility program grants are available to eligible students. Ask about University or country specific scholarships.

Eligible students can access the Overseas Higher Education Loan Program (OS-HELP) or Centrelink payments while overseas.

Where can I go?It is important that you choose an exchange destination that is right for you. Consider the following:

• How will you handle the different culture?

• Do you want to improve or gain language skills?

• What will the climate be like?

• How will I fit this into my study plan?

• Are there any activities or interests that you would like to take up while overseas?

When on exchange you must take comparable subjects at your exchange university that will be credited towards your JCU degree.

In order to be granted credit, you must obtain advice and receive approval from your College, and pass approved subjects while on exchange.
