Choose one of the following topics from the list.  Research the topic and write an Information 

pamphlet about the disorder and be prepared to present to the class.  The following needs to 

be answered.   

a. Name of the disorder 

b. What causes the disorder (mutation, DNA sequence, Protein mistake…)? 

c. In which populations does it show up and its frequency. (male, female, adult, location) 

d. Characteristics/symptoms of the disorder (obvious and discreet). 

e. Diagram if possible of the disorder or the DNA sequence. 

f. Can you pass it on to your children? 

g. Is it contagious? How did you get it?
