BIOGRAPHYSUPER CUMBIA was born on planet ¨Cum-bión¨, in the same interstellar neighborhood as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s ¨Little Prince¨, a 20 minutes distance by foot from the north Lunar coast, all in a tropical universe of south ameri-can imagination.

In the city of Rosario, Republic of Argentina, he learned to walk, talk, play and sing with his guitar, a tool that would serve as a canalizing vehicle of the most powerful music as far as emotional health goes, ‘’LA CUMBIA DEL MON-TE (cumbia of the hills)’’.

With SANTO REMEDIO as an alias, SUPER CUMBIA undertakes an anthropological melodic crossing of Argentina, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, where the multicultural contact with worldwide nomadism that explores these lands will reveal all it´s genetics and thereby start to write and compose cumbia in a different way: ‘’CUMBIA DEL MONTE’’ . A hy-brid rhythm that has traces of raggae, hip hop, raggamufi, murga, candombey, ska, punk and

a good proportion of latino vitamins coursing through its veins. The creative lyrics are capable of generating the happiness and consciousness necessary to break daily routines and breathe in the morning with natural optimism.

CUMBIA DEL MONTE acts as a bridge, connect-ing South America and Europe for the past four years, distributing and receiving, learning of lib-erties and bureaucracies with the firm comprise of sowing in scenario a positive message, chock full of disinhibiting colours…

‘’CUMBIA DEL MONTE’’ SHOWOur SHOW crosses south-american musical geography fusioned with contemporary sounds of the new generation with a literary prolongation of folkloric recitations and marcial theatralisation of super powers.

The interaction with the public is immediate, a unisound chorus is formed to the wild cry of ’’ Todos los días… Cumbia!’’, among other pedagogic exchanges of happiness.

‘’Mucho Monte’’ contains a line of compositions that provokes the five senses, unpinning smiles and the work of reflection at the same time as the body starts to lose shame.

SUPER CUMBIA Y LA LIGA DE LA ALEGRIA present themselves in the scenario as normal humans, the civilian clothing camouflaging the unfore-told transformation that unveils the true identities.
