Distances between cultures and continents seem so much shorter
whenlistening to Fanfara Electronica. Psychedelic sounds,
synthesizers, folkloricinstruments and ethnic samples dance over
electronic beats to create ahybridization of world music you’ve
never heard before.
Based on a powerful electronic set-up that includes ethnic
sounds comingfrom all corners of our planet, during their two hour
live show FanfaraElectronica takes you on a musical trip through
Africa, India, the MiddleEast and South America, creating an
alliance of strong kicks andkaleidoscopic acid lines.
Growing up as part of a movement that knows no cultural borders,
takinginspiration from gypsies, musicians of the grand wild east
and the mysticlands of South America, the duo creates a sound that
looks at the union ofelectronic and traditional music, adapting
machines to the sounds ofinstruments, samples to tone, their stage
to tradition.
As founders of Global Hybrid Records and Santuario Booking,
organizersof parties, raves and festivals in France, Belgium and
Chile, they’ve pushedfor a mix between worlds that used to seem far
apart, creating a totalliberation of sound while welcoming into
their stage all sorts ofexperiments such as sound healing sessions,
costumes and masks, settingthe tone of a spectacle that brings
along a myriad of up and comingprojects, producers and initiatives.
