Biofuels Made from biomassTwo most common are ethanol and biodieselEthanol- made like alcohol, but is modified to be undrinkable; made from starches and sugars but may soon be made from cellulose and hemicellulose; used commonly in carsEthanol can also be produced by gasification, a process in which the biomass is converted an environment that has a high temp and low amount of carbon to a synthesis gas or "syngas', which will be converted into ethanol and other fuelsBiodiesel- made by combining alcohol (usually methanol) with veggie oil, animal fat, or recycled cooking grease; used commonly is semis.

Biomass Briquette is a substitution for coal and charcoal. It is created when biomass is dried out. This is usually used in third world countries, where any other energy amount is short. They decrease the amount of carbon in the atmosphere that coal and charcoal would normally produce. This is a very useful energy.
