Lt General (Dr) Rajesh Pant is an internationally recognised Cyber

Security expert, who is presently tenanting the prestigious appointment of

National Cyber Security Coordinator in the National Security Council Secretariat

of India. In this capacity he is responsible for coordinating all activities across

multiple sectors to ensure a secure and resilient cyber space within the nation.

He holds a PhD degree for his research in the field of Information Security

metrics. He is also MTech from IIT Kharagpur, MPhil from Madras University

and Master of Management Studies from Osmania University.

Prior to this appointment, he was the head of the Army’s Cyber Training

establishment for three years. He served in the Army Signals Corps for 41 years

wherein he was awarded three times by the President of India for distinguished

service of the highest order. Consequent to his retirement, he was Chairman of a

listed Electronics Company, peer review member of NAAC, and Governing

Council member of IETE(India).

General Pant brings to the table an interesting mix of military operations,

academic excellence, corporate governance and cyber security wisdom.

Amrit Singh Deo

Senior Managing Director

Amrit Singh Deo is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting, and leads the strategic

communications practice, providing advisory counsel on public policy, special situations and

business transformation. Amrit brings over 20 years of expertise combining consulting and

client-side experience – with a focus on tech policies and digital transformation of industries.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Amrit used to lead Marketing and Communications for Ericsson in

India and Sri Lanka. He has an international MBA from ESADE Business School, Barcelona,

Spain, and an Economics degree from Sriram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Ripu Bajwa

Director & General Manager– Data Protection Solutions

Ripu Bajwa is responsible for leading the Data Protection Solutions (DPS) Specialty Division at

Dell Technologies, India.

Ripu has over 25 years of experience in the IT Industry from a sales and technology perspective.

With organizations today facing unprecedented data growth, Ripu and his team play a pivotal role

in ensuring customers across the region modernize their data protection strategy and mitigate risk

with highest levels of availability.

A Dell EMC veteran for over fifteen (15) years, Ripu has led many leadership roles and is part of

the Country Leadership team. He had been a District Manager for West Territory for many years

covering large enterprises in Manufacturing, IT/ITES, PSU and Telecom Segment. Ripu also

incubated and led the Service Provider Vertical for India region before taking charge of the DPS

Division since 2016.

Prior to Dell EMC, Ripu has been associated with companies like Microsoft, IBM, HCL and Tata

Steel. An IIT Bombay & IIM Calcutta alumni, Ripu is passionate about CSR and is actively

involved with various NGO’s for a greater cause.

Dave Harvey

Managing Director

Dave Harvey has over 20 years of cybersecurity experience, specifically in countering

advanced threat actors, developing cybersecurity resilience and responding to critical

incidents.

Mr. Harvey leads FTI Consulting’s UK Cybersecurity practice, overseeing client

engagements across a broad spectrum of industries and regional markets. He has extensive

expertise providing independent board-level advisory and assurance, cybersecurity resilience

and response engagements, in addition to guidance on post-breach complex investigations

and in support of class-action lawsuits.

Recent experience includes the development of target operating models and security

assurance programmes across multi-national clients. Mr. Harvey spearheaded the delivery to

support the establishment of the NHS Nightingale hospitals and has led a series of high-

profile litigation investigations under legal privilege into some of the most significant data

breaches worldwide.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Harvey served as the lead architect and then Head of

Automation within Technology for KPMG UK LLP. During his tenure, Mr. Harvey led a

team of over 65 specialists in delivering digital transformation across a +£10M portfolio

including cloud hosted AI, workflow, RPA, data insight, and software development projects.

Serving as a senior Engineer Officer in the Royal Air Force, Mr. Harvey specialised in secure

communications and cybersecurity where he was responsible for incident response to major

cyber events. He directed complex workstreams within the Defence Cybersecurity

Programme and led cyber operations with key partner nations.

Jerry has had a very diverse and broad career in IT: working in research, education,

services and sales

Jerry currently works for Dell Technologies helping customers and partners across APJ

address Data Protection challenges. With the pace of change in IT, Jerry has a particular

focus on cloud and security issues. Jerry has more than 20 years experience in Data

Protection space with large, tier one customers.

Jerry is a regular speaker and panelist and has contributed to events including AWS

Summits, Cyber Security round tables, vForum, Storage and Networking World and

numerous other trade and vendor conferences.

Prior to his current role, Jerry worked for VERITAS and later Symantec in various roles

and before that was a lecturer at both University of New South Wales and the University

of Technology, Sydney. While working at the UNSW, Jerry completed his PhD in

Computer Science, for which he conducted research into MicroKernel Security.
