Join our multidisciplinary team in 2014 to explore 2,000 year old tombs in the ancient capital city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site recently voted one of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.”
Cost: Estimated at $3440 includes: Application fee ($75) Tuition for six credits Accommodation in Petra Three meals per day, six days per week in Petra International accident/health insurance coverage
Airfare, visa fees, and personal expenses are not included.
Summer Study Abroad
Petra, known for its rock-cut tomb facades and magni�cent temples, was a major trade center for incense and spices and became an important city in the Roman empire. Petra is located in Jordan, a stable, moderate pro-western Arab state with an astounding cultural heritage. Students will have opportunities to visit other cultural sites in Jordan.
