Judi Jordan Bio Judi is a working writer. She writes every day, all day. She studied screenwriting with Syd Field at his kitchen table, at UCLA extension and did the obligatory McKee Story; countless writing classes and small shoots later, including a short which screened at Cannes—she’s ghosting fiction and non-fiction books [3 to date, with 3 more in work] while she writes spec TV and feature scripts. She also directs and has produced promos and segments. Judi has written 10 feature scripts, 4 TV pilots, and has a definite passion for drama in all its incarnations; tantalizing stories that weave passion, irony, sophistication, and bravery as found in historical fiction, fictionalized history, fantasy, supernatural, uplifting, TV Addictions/ include Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Vikings, Empire, Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, Outlander, Scandal, Penny Dreadful, Homeland, Jane the Virgin, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, Ray Donovan, The Tudors, Rome, The Newsroom. She alternates between screenwriting, journalism, editing, ghostwriting. Her first interview was with Robert De Niro in Paris. She has contributed to numerous magazines: The Hollywood Reporter, Backstage West, LA City News, Entertainment Today, Celebrity Weekly, Star, Latino Future, Gayot, Venice, at Latin Style as Editor at Large, Estylo as “Star Style” columnist..At Real Talk LA Magazine she was Editor in Chief, and she has been West Coast Editor for Latino Leaders Magazine since 2006. She has interviewed senators, movie stars, chefs, winemakers, hoteliers, CEOs, producers, directors, firefighters, sick children, opera stars, classical conductors, and rock stars. A 21 st century gypsy, of Ecuadorean, American Indian and Jamaican roots, Judi Jordan grew up on the East Coast, and went to design school in New York, but moved to Europe where she married, divorced, traveled, designed French fashion in Paris at Pierre Balmain, Louis Feraud and Chloe, costumed movies, directed theatre, lived in haunted ateliers, time traveled, dreamed day and night and wrote of lives past and future. She’s lived in Paris, Zurich, Munich, New York, LA-- and spent time in England, France, Spain, Scotland, Italy, India, Brazil, Turkey, Sardinia, Greece, South Korea, Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Sicily, Kenya, Morocco, Mexico, and Venezuela. Recently returned from Aragon in the north of Spain, and Rome, researching TV and book projects, she has a medieval historical/fantasy pilot set in Spain and France, a political Latino pilot set in the US, a hip-hop/dance musical pilot set in New York and Mumbai, a supernatural historical pilot set in New York and Rome, a spy comedy pilot set in London and India. Judi Jordan – Bio
