After Hurricane Katrina, he has played around the country from San Diego to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Antonio, Washington D.C. and many other places before returning to the Crescent City and finally settling in the beautiful city of Santa Fe. During the 25 years of his musical career, he has refined a sophisticated guitar style and a captivating voice that keeps the audience enthralled, entertained and -when the time is right- on their feet dancing. Having mastered the Gypsy Jazz guitar style invented by Django Reinhardt, he has created his own musical flavor mixing acoustic jazz, swing, Latin and Italian classics singing in Italian, English and Spanish. Daniele has taken part in many important events including the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, New Orleans French Quarter Festival, Italian American festivals in Washington DC, New Orleans and San Diego along with radio and TV appearances. QUOTES

“Italian-born Daniele Spadavecchia […], a musical feast […] he calls Sicilian Swing. He takes […] from the Rat Pack, […] Dean Martin […], Louie Prima and […] old time New Orleans jazz, […] a few old Mediterranean folk songs and […] music of Italy […]. Finally, he holds it all together with the beauty and passion of Django Reinhardt, the man who set the world on fire in the 1930s with his guitar and Gypsy jazz.” - Paul Hormick, San Diego Troubador (May 01, 2011)

“When the dashing Alessandria, Italy native launches into his set -- a mix of gypsy jazz a la Django Reinhardt and Neapolitan classics -- everyone pays attention” - Bobby Tanzillo, OnMilwaukee.com (Aug 03, 2009)

“Of the many guitarists who’ve attempted Reinhardt’s deftly emotive style, Spadavecchia rivals the best, conveying depth and subtlety without superfluous flash” - Mary Leary, San Diego Entertainer Magazine (Sep 04, 2009)
