    Introduction to the HR department:

    The predecessor of HR about two decades was called personnel department whose

    functions were restricted to selection of employees, pay roll, employee attendance,

    administration, time office and disciplinary actions against mis-conduct by employee

    wheneverrequired.

    Now the HRdepartmentsfunctionsencompassesmanymoreaspectsnotdonebypersonnel

    Induction program

    Thecompanyrecognizes thatproper inductionofanew employee to theorganization isan

    importantmanagerialresponsibilityoftheorganization.Theconcerndepartmentheadshave

    topayattentionininducingthenew employeetotheorganizationandjobfunctions withthe

    Thepurpose is to establish and develop a system for the receipt, storage and issue of

    materials to ensure conformance toproduct quality, healthand safety requirements.This is

    applicable to all incoming chemicals, raw materials, fuels,process consumables,packingmaterialsandessentialspares

    It is the responsibility of the functional head (stores) to implement theprocedures. The

    responsibilities of the section head (stores) include day to day activities such as receipt,

    storage,preservationandissuesofmaterials.

    inspection of material forwetness, lump etc.and then only unloading in doneasper work

    FINANCEDEPARTMENT

    Thefinancedepartmentlooksafterthefinancialandcommercialaspectsofthecompany.The

    department has toperform certain functions such as maintaining records of day to day

    transactions,preparingthepayrollandprocessingofsalaryandotherstaffrelatedpayments,making timelypayments of tax and otherpayments to the government and thus maintain

    records of thesepayments. The department tries to make thebest use of the organizations

    financialresources.
