Look out for a coloured envelope in your letterbox
or at your front door in the coming week.
What if I don’t have a letterbox or street mail service?
If you don’t have a letterbox or street mail service a representative of JR Richards and
Sons will drop a letter to your door advising you of your new bin day.
When will the letter arrive?
Letters should start arriving in letterboxes and properties from Wednesday 22 July.
If you don’t have a letter by 30 July please contact Council's Customer Service Team on
1300 087 004 and they will assist you.
What does the collections calendar look like?
Why does the collections calendar have an Orange week and a Blue week?
The orange and blue weeks relate to customer recycling weeks.
If your letter identifies your recycling week as Orange, your recycling will be collected on
weeks marked in Orange on the collections calendar.
If your letter identifies your recycling week as Blue, your recycling will be collected in
weeks marked in Blue on the collections calendar.
I have a green lid bin, when will this be collected?
If you live in Moama or Mathoura and have an organics (green lid) bin, it will be collected
on the opposite week to your recycling (yellow lid) bin.
My letter says my recycling week is Orange, what does that mean?
When you refer to the collection calendar, your recycling (yellow lid) bin will be picked
up on weeks that are marked in Orange.
My letter says my recycling week is Blue week, what does that mean?
When you refer to the collection calendar, your recycling (yellow lid) bin will be picked
up on weeks that are marked in Blue.
