Mediation Device

•Mediation device converts incoming data formats from MSC to a compatible format for further applications as decision support system and Billing System. •It support the features viz. copy, format, merge, filter, modify etc.

A) Collection

- Collect CDR in ASCII Format. Support FTP & MTP on X.25 protocols for collection.

- Support the Sequence number validation so that no files are lost or duplicated.

- If case of Mediation Device link Failure, it keeps track of the last CDR received and will start from the same.

Mediation Server Configuration

These are SUNFIRE 4800 Servers. Each server is having ONE control board. Each will have internal HD of 72GB capacity. Each server is with 4 CPU and 8GB RAM SUN Solaris OS loaded on each server. Both the servers are connected directly to the

LAN and as well as to the Cisco 7206 router.

for each Mother board. Each server is with 4 CPU and 8GB RAM

server. Both the servers are connected directly to the

LAN through Cisco 5505 switch.

a.      Validity starts from the date of latest recharge.  c.  During the grace period, no calls shall be allowed except emergency (toll free) & IVR calls.  d. The unutilized balance amount of the previous card can be carried forward in case of renewal within the grace period, other wise it shall lapse. e.        The SIM number can be re-activated with additional period of 60 days beyond even the grace period of 15 days for all Card values , the credit balance will lapse but the subscriber will not have to pay activation charges.  f.
