OHIO BIKER FEST

June was another busy month, filled with rallies and activities. At the beginning of

the month I headed for the beautiful state of Ohio to take part in the 10th Annual Bikerfest Weekend”. Pastor Michael and Lynn Mcguire were gracious hosts. They have an incredible support team at their Rushing Wind Biker Church. They also have a “huge sign” that faces

I-70.

While there I enjoyed great fellowship, some beautiful rides through the countryside, and some incredible ministry opportunities. We had our annual Salvation Army lunch, it was really well attended by members from several different states. Then all of us rolled into “The Relay for Life - Breast Cancer Support Rally”, wearing pink armbands. Our fearless leader Pastor Mike Mcguire even wore a pink handkerchief, and made

a pink cape. He looked like a “Breast Cancer Fighting Superhero”. And yes, we’ve got the pictures to prove it !

On Friday night the Rushing Wind Worship team rocked the house. Saturday night the featured band was, Gods Dirt – a southern rock

band. I preached the evening message and many hands

went up to accept Christ, or rededicate their lives. God is good. On Sunday morning the Rushing Wind Worship Team tore it up again.

Tony Mac shared his incredible testimony of being locked down in a maximum security prison.

The Lord was able to reach down even there - to touch his life, when he felt that he was at the end of his rope. All in all, it was a weekend of blessings and fun. Most importantly, changed lives.

REPORT FROM THE

NETHERLANDS.

Dear Biker brothers and sisters, we would like to tell you a little about our work for Jesus.

A few years ago we built a young people’s house. E v e r y d a y , e x c e p t weekends, it’s open so the

boys and girls can come. Some days there are more than fifty children here. They can come for a short talk and to drink some coffee.

In vacation time we make pancakes on Wednesday and they can join us for a meal. We always have our dinner in the young people house and often some children join us. As

always, we say thanks to God for the meal.

They all know that when Erik and Mettie are eating, they want to have a little rest after dinner. So they are all quiet. After dinner we read a little story from the Bible. Some children come and sit down

when we start reading the Bible. And they come with questions. Even when they have trouble with school, or with their parents they come to us to ask what to do.

Sometimes we set-up

the “pannakooi” where they can play soccer. Every year we have our own party - Biker-Meets-Bikers. The children are welcome too. And they come because it is in their building. Even on Sunday, when we have the sermon, they come.

Once we invited a man and he told the story of his life before he found Jesus. We asked the parents too, and they came making it an event.

Why we started to do this every day? It is so important that everybody hears

Gods message and feels His love. In the Young People House we can keep the children away from the street as we tell them about Jesus. We thank God for this possibility.

We want to ask you for your prayers. Because without His blessings we

are nothing, we cannot do nothing.Blessings and a big hug from the 2 of us,Erik and Mettie admin. BFC the Netherlands.www.jongereninloop.nl

- On the Road with Family -

Towards the end of the month, we took our 1st real family vacation in 8 years. Seven family members – including a son, daughter, and 3 grandkids headed for Idaho to see Esther’s son, Fernando, daughter in-law: Yoli, and grandsons, Diego and Alex. While we were there I called

the BFC crew to see if they wanted to hang out. Almost two dozen members came out for the evening meal and fellowship. It was a real

blessing to meet some members that I had not previously met.

O u r 3 y e a r - o l d grandson, Diego had just got his electric scooter going, we we tossed it in the back of the van, and headed for the taco shop. When we got together for the group picture, Diego was excited to park his trike right in the front. He called the group his “Biker Buddies”, and even said to them, “Do you guys want to take a ride to the park with me?” Everyone was completely cracking up by that point. We really had a blessed time of fellowship.

Then we began the long drive home, and stopped at the b r e a t h - t a k i n g Shoshone Falls, w h i c h i s considered the Niagra Falls of the

West. After we rolled out of there the grandkids said “Hey Grandpa, some year can we

take a vacation and go to San Francisco. ” I replied “Let’s go now” ! We took a detour to the southwest, went through Reno to San Francisco. We had a great couple of days there before heading home.

We were going down the I-5 south, coming up on to the 710 when a semi-truck, to our right had a large rusty piece of metal fall off of it and hit the front of the van. Ramon, my step-son was driving and he held it steady straight down the line.

We later found out that the truck driver and mechanics had removed the large rim and tire - and actually left a bare axle, without putting the lug

nuts back on it - to hold the brake drum on.

If our van didn’t have twenty-inch rims , the brake drum p r o b a b l y would have gone r i gh t though the e n g i n e compartment Instead it hit the bumper, and went under the

van. We might have been killed or seriously injured.

They say "Chevy Trucks are made Chevy tough" We knew that the Lord was with us. No one was hurt, just really shaken up. God is so good to us all.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all – and keep you in His Perfect Peace.

Love and Respect, Pastor Fred & Esther Z. and BFC Intl. HQ

Traveling Mercies Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come to You now in the Name of my our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Holy Spirit we pray that You will quicken us to hear our Heavenly Father’s Voice

and lead us in prayer. Heavenly Father, we bow and worship before You. We come to You with praise and with thanksgiving. We come to You in humility, in fear, and in

trembling. We come to You in gratitude, in love, and through the precious Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Heavenly Father, we ask You to give us and every person I prayed for today traveling mercies and to

deliver us safely to our destinations. We ask You to deliver us safely to our destinations. We ask You to loose Your angels to go before us and to protect us and to force all

darkness and all destructive forces away from us. If Your angels have to manifest themselves to protect us, please

let them do so. Amen!
