Greetings in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for your love, encouragement, prayers and support. BFC continues to grow into one of the most powerfully effective and evangelistic motorcycle ministries on planet earth - and God gets the honor and the glory for that. We're just along for the ride.

Our motorcycle ministers rumble literally around the world on their bikes as they share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with many who would never visit a church. Ministry News Updates

The month of August was busy with activities all over. Some of us attended a great car and bike show put on in Vista, California by my niece and nephew, Bree and Jason. They did a bang-up job, I was really proud of them. We flooded the place with gospel tracts, and church invitations.

We were also invited to a legendary 1%er M/C’s party. We left Oceanside with 7 or 8 bikes and took a brisk ride up the freeway and met some of the MC members on the road. We rolled with a pack of about 20 bikes up the freeway for about 20 miles. The twin cams j u s t start opening up

at 70+MPH - and a few times we hit higher

digits as we weaved through the traffic following the MC. Then we peeled off to pick up other BFC members and we rolled in with about two dozen patch holders to the event.

We were warmly greeted and given a personal tour of the clubhouse by the President of the MC. There were some cool vendors along with an arm-wrestling competition. We had a few members join in the fun. Stephanie, a retired school-teacher amazed us all as she got in the act and did

q u i t e w e l l . We also had a n e w y o u n g m a n , J e s s e take 2nd place in h i s

weight class. He even received a trophy, and I felt like a proud Papa.

We headed back to Rushing Wind/BFC HQ for an evening concert with the band, Forgiven. Art, Doug and the crew rocked the house with a lot of classics and blues with modified lyrics. They put on an

amazing show complete with h o r n s , p e r c u s s i o n ,

s y n t h e s i z e r s , and incredible

v o c a l s a n d harmonies. What a treat !

Then I was off on an amazing journey to the Pacific Northwest for a BFC rally. Roseburg, Oregon is where our State Elder Don and his wife Becky live. They have been faithfully serving there for many years. We have quite a few chapters in Oregon and other states in the Pacific Northwest. They all come together for the rally.

They have established a ministry hangout zone in the old downtown part of the city. It is awesome complete with

areas for sitting and plenty of room for fellowship, BFC meetings, bible studies, etc. They also have a huge parking lot for larger events, BBQ’s, concerts, etc. A new tattoo shop moved in n e x t d o o r a n d immediately acquired new clients.

Yes I got a new Men's BFC logo on my left calf. Ouch, but awesome ! Beth Taft got a

beautiful ladies BFC logo.

The host c h u r c h , N e w Beginnings has faithfully supported the event as well and let’s them use their sanctuary and the dining room downstairs, which packs out that

week-end.

We tool some beautiful rides through the hills. There is nothing like looking in your rearview mirror and seeing a hundred sets of handlebars. What a rush !

God has brought some new younger members in - so we're working on designing a lot of new gear !

We had some great m u s i c , s p e a k e r s , a n d fellowship. I gave the altar call and many came forward again. It humbles and amazes me every time that God touches people’s hearts. Elijah – our rap artist pumped the crowd up and the worship team from Coos Bay rocked the parking lot. The New Beginnings band

rocked the house inside the church.

We were able to pray with some MC members as God always opens the doors for those special times. The

Lord loves these people and we do too. Some really get touched when they see tattooed, long haired guys praying for people that many of the churches have given up on. We’re honored to be able to show God’s love to those who will receive it.

Please pray for our nation and the up-coming election. We as a

nation need to return to the Godly principles this country was founded upon. Vote for those who represent Godly values - the sanctity of human life, the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, the freedom to worship as we choose. Be willing to stand up and be counted for your faith and the freedom that God has blessed us with. Never take those things for granted. And remember every vote counts.

Please pray for the brothers and sisters in our ministry. Some of the specific needs are:

One of our early BFC members: Mike "Crunch" Dougherty went home to be with his Lord. Pray for his family and friends. He'll also be missed.

Laura McCabe lost her husband, John in a bike accident in Santa Cruz. Pray for God’s peace and comfort during this time for the entire family.

“Curly" Shirey from Oklahoma is going in for a bypass surgery.

And my Queen Esther is going in for knee surgery to repair a torn miniscus - please pray for a quick and thorough healing for these ladies as well.

Brother Mike Duke from Kentucky (a former 1%er president - now a BFC leader) has had some various health issues over the years - yet continues to baffle his doctors and us - as he's still riding his bike... what a fighter ! More on Mike and the Kentucky outreach next month.

BFC worldwide really needs your prayers. Please lift up-coming rallies and events to the Lord and pray for safety for those who travel to them . Pray for an effective witness as we share the love of Jesus.

With Love & Respect, Pastor Fred & Esther Z.
