Author and speaker, Emily Leatherbarrow, has traveled around the world teaching about missions, outreach and the love of Jesus. For 15 years Emily served as the international director of two homes for children at risk of human trafficking. Now Emily serves stateside for the Atlanta Mission. Atlanta Mission has been giving hope to the hopeless and fighting homelessness for 80 years! At-lanta Mission serves more than 1,000 men, women and children every day. Emily and her husband, James, have been married for 16 years, they have three children and live in the Lawrenceville area.

Matthew 25: 31–46 There are so many misconceptions about the homeless and how or why a person finds themselves on the streets. Just one of Atlanta Mission’s 4 facilities is Sister’s House, a shelter for women and children. This facility allows us to offer shelter, food, counseling, vocational training, child-care, educa-tion, transitional housing, spiritual growth and so much more, for up to 264 women and children each day! Thank you!

Emily Leatherbarrow

“Stand-Around” is a 30 minute fellowship gathering from 10:00am to 10:30am in Cousins Hall. Refreshments are served every Sunday. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet new friends as well as long time friends. If you worship at 10:30am, come early and enjoy the fel-lowship and refreshments.

Sympathy

The Chapel family extends sympathy to Gordon Harnesberger and family in the passing of his brother, Robert, in Taos, New Mexico, on December 6.
