BIG BEARRECREATION FACILITY

General InformationBig Bear Recreation Facility is home to 8 beautiful cabins, 5 RV Campsites, and 6 Tent Campsites. Our facility also features a Group Campsite that will fit up to 32 people and a Bath house. Check-in time is between 1500 - 1900 and check-out time is between 0800 - 1100. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at our facility. Big Bear Recreation Facility is located within two miles from Big Bear Lake Village and Snow Summit Mountain Resort.

Our community area features fire pits and picnic tables. The property also has volleyball courts, basketball courts, and badminton & tennis courts. We also have open space to throw horseshoes and even a playground for the kids to enjoy.

Active Duty Marines and Active Duty Military personnel stationed on a Marine Corps Installation can make reservations on the 1st day of the month.

• All other Active Duty Military personnel can make reservations on the 2nd day of the month.

• Retirees, Reservists, Dependents, and DoD civilians can make reservations on the 3rd day of the month.

• Please note that when reservations are being made that the first night’s charge will be authorized on your credit card. Reservations will not be made without credit card authorizations. Additionally, reservations are made after verifying eligibility on a first come, first serve basis.

CabinsAmenities:All 8 cabins are identical with a Master bedroom with a Queen size bed. An upstairs loft features 2 full size beds. A fully equipped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, gas range, oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots & pans, dishware and silverware for six. The dining room has a dining table that will seat six and a living room that has a wood burning fire place, TV and DVD player. Our cabins also have one full bathroom per cabin and all amenities are provided, in addition all cabins have an outdoor space with a picnic table and charcoal grill.
