ABOUT YOUR HOST

ABOUT THE TOUR

Kameel Majdali, PhD (Melb) is Director of Teach All Nations (tan.org.au),

a global Bible ministry based in Melbourne and an ordained minister of

the Australian Christian Churches (AOG). With his wife Leanne he has

ministered extensively in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the United

States. He has lived in Jerusalem for five years, where he obtained a

Master of Arts degree in the history and geography of ancient Israel at the

Institute of Holy Land Studies, Mount Zion (now called Jerusalem

University College). He has done both his MA and PhD theses on

Jerusalem. As principal of a leading Bible college, he was involved in training 100s of people for

ministry. He convened four TRENDS Conferences. He is the author of nine books, including

Melbourne to Jerusalem: A Pilgrim’s Progress in the 21st Century. He has 2 programs on Australian

Christian radio and gives regular public presentations on Israel and the Middle East. Skillfully

combining the informational with the inspiration, Rev. Majdali is very experienced in escorting

believers to the places where the Christian faith first began.

DAY 1 MONDAY,

NOVEMBER 27

Today you will depart your international city for an overnight flight to Cairo, Egypt. Overnight: Royal Jordanian Airlines

DAY 2 TUESDAY,

NOVEMBER 28

You will arrive in Cairo in the mid-afternoon which means you will be able to spend the rest of the day relaxing before dinner. Lunch is NOT included today so you can eat in the hotel or try some delicious Egyptian food from the local street vendors.

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY,

NOVEMBER 29

We begin the day with the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykeriunus; which are marvelous sights to behold! For an additional USD $15 you can enter the pyramids and walk through their tunnels to the burial crypt. We will also see the famous Sphinx! After lunch we will get to explore the marvels of the Egyptian Museum, filled with amazing artifacts such as the treasure room of King Tutankhamen

DAY 4 THURSDAY,

NOVEMBER 30

Today we drive to Alexandria to see the Pompey Pillar which as Roman triumphal column, the largest of it’s type, constructed outside the imperial capitals of Rome and Constantinople. We will visit the Ancient Library of Alexandria that was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. The Catacombs of Kam Kam El Shoqafa (meaning “Mound of Shards”) is a historical archaeological site and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle ages. Our final stop for the day is Citadel of Qaitbay which was a 15th century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean sea coast of Alexandria, established in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Says al-Din Qa’it Bay. Tonight we will enjoy dinner on a special Nile River cruise.

DAY 5 FRIDAY,

DECEMBER 1

Our first stop today will be at the Roman Amphitheater which is one of the most popular monuments located in the city of Alexandria, the second most important city in Egypt; after Cairo. While the amphitheaters were quite common during the reign of the Romans, in different countries like Greece, Italy and Turkey. Many examples of these structures are still present in many regions around Europe and the Middle East. However, the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria is the only one of it’s type in Egypt. After lunch we will return to Cairo for our final night in Egypt.

JORDAN

DAY 6 SATURDAY,

DECEMBER 2

This morning we will fly to Jordan. Our first stop will be at Mt Nebo , it is here

that Moses viewed the Promise Land! We will get to see what he saw but the

difference is we will cross the Jordan River into the Promise Land, Moses did

not. From here we will drive south to Petra, where we will spend the night in the

mountains of Edom.

DAY 7 SUNDAY,

DECEMBER 3

Today will be an amazing day as we explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Rose City of Petra. We access this hidden archaeological treasure on a walk through narrow, but incredible Siq. Once the rocks finally give way, they will reveal the famous facade of the Treasury. There are plenty of adventure to be had as you explore the hectares of ruins like the amphitheater, temples, synagogues, tombs and more. Lunch is on your own today. ISRAEL

DAY 8 MONDAY,

DECEMBER 4

Today we drive north to the Allenby bridge to cross the border into Israel. It will be a full and exciting first day in Israel as we start with a drive by tour of Tel Jericho, followed by an incredible cable-car ride up the Mt of Temptation where we will view the beauty of the Jordan Valley. We will end the day with a tour favourite - a photo opp at the glorious Sycamore Tree of Jericho, followed by some duty free shopping.

DAY 9 SUNDAY,

DECEMBER 5

We will start the day at En Geid, the place where David hid from King Saul. The oasis is amazing! You can explore the fresh water springs or walk the goat trails of the Ibecs as we explore the Wildneress of Judah. After lunch we will have the chance to relax as we float in the Dead Sea. DAY 10 WEDNESDAY,

DECEMBER 6

The day begins with a visit to the historical rich, biblical site of Shiloh. It is at Shiloh where the Tabernacle of Moses resided for 369 years before it was hidden forever. It was also here where Hannah pleaded to God for a son and where the story of Samuel takes place. Next, we will get to enjoy a true Middle Eastern lunch in Sebastia before making out way to Tiberias.

DAY 11 THURSDAY,

DECEMBER 7

We begin our day by heading as far north as we possible can go, to the Golan Heights. We will stop at the lower viewpoint of Mt Bental that overlooks Syria and Mt Hernon. Then, we will visit Tel Dan where the children of Israel built that golden calf.. After lunch, we will stop and explore Nimrod’s Fortress, the biggest crusade-era castle in Israel; a mountain top stronghold spanning back to the 13th century. With views of much of the Golan, it is situated on a peak neighboring Israel’s highest and only snow-capped mountain. Mount Hermon. The ruins of Nimrod’s Fortress are beautiful and well-preserved, a truly visible snapshot of history.

DAY 12 FRIDAY,

DECEMBER 8

Today will be wonderful! We begin the morning with a boat ride on the beautiful Sea of Galilee where we will enjoy some Messianic worship; a truly surreal experience! From here, we get to explore Capernaum, Jesus’ headquarters during His ministry years which includes the Mount of Beatitudes where He preached the most famous sermon in the world! We will enjoy a St. Peter’s fish lunch, which will be sure to delight your palate. Finally, there will be an opportunity for those wanting to be water baptized in the Jordan river.

DAY 13 SATURDAY,

DECEMBER 9

Today we will visit Nazareth Village where you will gain a wonderful insight into life in the time of Jesus as you will see how people lived 2000 years ago. Next, we will visit Mt Precipice and view the Valley of Armageddon and the surrounding biblical cities. On our way back to Tiberias we will stop at the Arbel Lookout which offers a fantastic view of the Sea of Galilee.

DAY 14 SATURDAY,

DECEMBER 10

It will be an early start this morning as we drive north to Caesarea where Paul was held prisoner before demanding to be sent to Rome. It is also home to the famous Aqueduct which was built by Herod. After lunch we will enjoy a visit to the Messianic Mt Carmel Assembly - always a favourite, always a blessing to all!

DAY 15 SUNDAY,

DECEMBER 11

This afternoon we will visit the Shrine of the Book where you can view the oldest Biblical manuscripts the were found at Qumran. Next door, at the Israel Museum, we will see a Model of Jerusalem during the 2nd Temple period. Return to Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity.

DAY 16 MONDAY,

DECEMBER 12

Today will be an early start with our first stop being a visit to the incredible Most of Olives. We will begin the Palm Sunday walk down the steep incline to Dominos Flevit, where Jesus wept over a rebellious Jerusalem. When we reach the bottom, we will see the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed and where he was betrayed, a very moving experience. A special treat awaits you at the David City Sifting Project where you can sift through the buckets of dirt from under the Temple Mount, looking for artefacts spread across 2000 years. You might find something special! If time allows, you will get the chance to explore the Old City on your own before we head back to Bethlehem.

DAY 17 TUESDAY,

DECEMBER 13

If conditions permit, we will have an early start to visit the Temple Mount. It sits on top of Mount Moriah where Abraham almost sacrificed his son, Isaac (Genesis 22). These 14 hectares of sacred space is the most priceless piece of real estate in the world. Here is the location of the Temples of Solomon and Herod: the latter is where the infant Jesus was presented before the Lord by Mary and Joseph. We then will head to the Western Wall to pray and if you like, place a hand written layer in the crevices of the stones. We will walk through Heziekiah’s Tunnel and finish the day with communion at the Garden Tomb. After dinner you will explore the Jaffa Road on your won - the heartland of Jewish Jerusalem.

DAY 18 WEDNESDAY,

DECEMBER 14

Today is our last full day of the tour so we will be able to enjoy a much needed sleep-in as we will have a late check out. Lunch will be on your own today. After we check out, we will make our way back to the Jordanian border, followed by a drive-by tour of Amman. We will stop at the Amman Lookout, which reveals all the glories of Amman. If time permits, we will also visit the Amman Museum. Finally, we will have our last dinner together before heading to the airport for your overnight flight back home.

Please read the following ‘Terms & Conditions’ carefully because your acceptance of them is

required in order to participate in the ‘Bible Adventure Tour’.

DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT: In order to secure your place on the ‘Bible Adventure Tour’ a deposit of USD $1200 per person is payable at the time of booking, along with a signed ‘booking form.’ Each participant needs to fill out their own ‘Booking Form,’ even if they are traveling as a couple/family (underage children can be covered by their parent’s form). You will be given a confirmation of booking as well as a request for the balance of monies owed. The balance of payment needs to be sent no later than 1 October, 2017 to the office. Failure to pay the balance by the due date means that we have the right to deem your booking as ‘cancelled’ and a cancellation fee will apply.

SINGLE-SUPPLEMENT: The tour land arrangements are based on ‘twin share,’ namely, two people sharing one hotel room. If a person is traveling alone and wants a room to them self, a ‘single-supplement’ extra charge must be paid. If a person is traveling alone, wants to go ‘twin-share,’ we will make every effort to identify a suitable partner However, if no partner can be found, the ‘single-supplement’ charge still applies.

GROUP TOUR: The costs of the land arrangements are based on 30 people traveling together, unless specified otherwise. Should less than this number be signed up, we reserve the right to adjust the price, cancel the tour or give a refund.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: You are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance at the time you pay your deposit. Your policy should include, but not be limited to cancellation, loss of deposit, loss of baggage, medical expenses, costs of repatriation to your home country if the tour is cut short or extended due to illness, or costs of returning to home country outside the tour due to the serious illness or death of a loved one. Please note that the ‘Bible Adventure Tour’, Teach All Nations Inc. and GEMM International Tours & Travel are not responsible for the expenses of uninsured travellers. LAND ARRANGEMENTS: All travel and accommodation is provided to tour participants by reputable third parties through GEMM International Tours & Travel, therefore it is important to remember that your place on the tour is subject to the liabilities and limitations imposed by these third parties.

COOPERATION: Participants are traveling to the Middle East as Biblical tourists/pilgrims. Therefore, it is imperative, and required, that full cooperation be given to the tour leader at all times.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Many photos are taken during the ‘Bible Adventure Tour’ Photos taken by us are sometimes used in promotion and or educational purposes. By signing the booking form you are agreeing that in the event that you are in any of these photos and it is used by Teach All Nations Inc. for promotion and educational that you have granted your permission.

CHRISTIAN PILGRIMAGE: ‘Bible Adventure Tour’ is a Biblical tour open to members of the Body of Christ at large. It has a Charismatic flavor. Because this is a journey to Biblical sites for the purpose of devotion and education, all participants are required to honor Biblical/ Christian/ traditional standards of morality and ethics at all times. Those who are physically impaired must have a care-giver traveling with them and assisting them at all times. Under-aged children are to be under the control of their parents at all times.

CANCELLATION: Should you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, you must advise us in writing. The letter of cancellation needs to be signed by the person making the original booking. No cancellation will be deemed active until the signed letter is received. Cancellation charges will be levied, depending on how much money was spent on your reservation and how close to the departure time the cancellation was made. They can vary from 30%, 60% or even 100% of the amount paid. Remember that cancellation charges might be compensated to you by your insurance company, depending on the reasons for the cancellation.

REFUNDS: Refunds will not be given once the tour has commenced, nor will they be given if a part of the tour was not utilized, including those arranged by a third party.

RESPONSIBILITY: We will do our utmost to coordinate this tour for the benefit of all and accept responsibility for those actions that are a direct result of our negligence. However, we cannot and will not accept liability of any kind for acts, defaults, omissions, by negligence, damage, loss, theft of luggage and personal injury, accident, or illness or otherwise, involving any aspect of the tour outside our control or by third parties. Furthermore, the ‘Bible Adventure Tour’ will not accept responsibility for the following, including but not limited to: actions of the airlines, local tour operators, hotel operators, coach driver or company, or any other person or company providing services for this tour. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused, directly or not, whether by human error or an ‘act of God’ (force of nature), breakdown of equipment, strikes, theft, delay, cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedule, actions of the individual tourist, including failure to listen to instructions and warnings, or any other event beyond our control, or cannot be stopped even by our due diligence, including but not limited to terrorism, fire, war, riots, floods, very severe weather, acts of nature, acts of government, or other authorities, accidents, or mechanical failures.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The participant agrees that in no event will the tour operator be liable for the results of participant’s use of these services, for participant’s inability or failure to obtain business or customers, or for indirect, special, or consequential damages. Participants further agrees that in no event will the total aggregate liability of the tour operator for any claims, losses or damages arising under this agreement whether in contract or tort, exceed the total amount paid by the participant to the tour operator during the preceding twelve (12) month period, even if the tour participant to tour operator has been advised of the possibility of such claim, loss, or damage except for losses arising from the tour operator’s gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct. The foregoing limitation of liability and exclusion of certain damages shall apply regardless of the success or effectiveness of other remedies.

MISCELLANEOUS This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws (excluding

the law of conflict of laws) of the State of Victoria, Commonwealth of Australia. All disputes shall be resolved in

Melbourne, Victoria. THIS AGREEMENT CONSTITUTES THE COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT

OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PARTIES CONCERNING THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS

AGREEMENT. No representation or promise relating to and no amendment of this Agreement shall be binding

unless it is in writing and signed by both parties. In the event that any of the provisions contained in this

Agreement are held to be unenforceable, this Agreement shall be construed without such provisions. This

Agreement shall remain in effect until further agreement of the parties.

COMPLAINTS: While we do our very best to serve the pilgrims under a charge, we live in an imperfect world and problems may arise. Should there be an issue, here is the protocol: 1. If there is an issue involving the tour, see the responsible person directly and immediately (tour guide, team leader, tour organizer, etc.). Failure to deal with the problem promptly could make matters worse. If it involves the hotel and problems with the room, please see the front desk. Only if you cannot get satisfaction with the hotel that you should see a responsible tour person (tour guide is the first person to ask). We will do our very best to resolve issues on the spot. 2. In the unlikely event that you need to write about an issue, you have 28 days after the completion of the tour to document the problem. You can expect an initial response within 14-28 days after the letter is received. Any letters received after 28 days will be deemed ‘late.’ No action will be taken or response sent.

You signature on the following booking form constitutes you understanding and acceptance of these ‘Terms

and Conditions.’
